the general cost of keeping up the vehicle has been taken into consideration and it also sounds a lot better on insurance to have a Volkswagen instead of a BMW, so i think it's fairly clear that i've narrowed it down to either a e30 or a mk2 or mk3 but nothing it certain until i get a title in my hand. If i were to run across a great deal on even another pickup tonight on CL i would still go for it.

Advice. E30 parts, including service items, can be costly. Be prepared. Mk2 and mk3's share a lot of the same parts and components making them more available and also very affordable. Volkswagens are fun and easy to work on once you learn them. Amongst my crew we have plenty of mk2s mk3s and e30s so I know from experience. Just some things to take into consideration when making your decision. I will have a mk2 GTI at some point.

Ya man I've seen some shot of her before and it's one hell of a ride! Looking at ur golf honestly makes me want a mk3, but we'll see I'm currently checking out this e30 not too far away from me right now so everything is up in the air
