i just put the calipers on
i couldnt find the pads, but i put them on now so it will save time later.

at first i couldnt find the bolts, but thankfully i found some bolts off a mk4 jetta that i parted, and they fit perfectly

of corse after i finished i found the actual ones, but the mk4s seem to be in better condition so they will stay
the old ones
i still love that one of them is gold


fluid and pads once i can get alex's bleeder hose, i dont want to spend $2 if i dont have to

Craigslist is your friend. I found my 200 amp mig w/tank (1000x better than a flux core) for $500, so a smaller one should be right in your price range.

This car was 100 times worse before this kid got it. Make real floor boards and work on the rust more. Anything can be saved.

whats gonna happen is this build thread will stop, and this car will end up in the junk yard...
Dont get me wrong i understand it needs alot of repair. But given the time and a little bit of love, this car could have been saved...

first 4 pics had me excited... around Page 3 i felt a little part of me die. I just love a good save. not a horrible kill.

There are plenty of showroom quality cars on this site, so for me its refreshing to see something a little less douchy. If he's passionate about the car then who are you to judge.

ive always said if i decide to scrap it, im just gonna pull the usable parts and put it in the woods on my land, that way someone will find something cool in the future

i will waset my money on wheels if that is what you want, but im actually having trouble being passionate or even wanting to work on this thing

I don't think anyone would care if its showroom quality or not. it's more so that everyone is "rattled" cause instead of fixing a car, it is getting destroyed, or sometimes half fixed but more so its a very bad patch. some half assed pride of ownership would save the car. end rant
