I'll be using Fiat 500 shocks as they're compact and the side loop will help.

Here's the new mount tacked...it will be shortened once i find the right spot for the top mount. I'll let you guys know if it works are rear shocks are tricky on w115s with bags

Lovin the chrome caps, I bought a car just for the hub caps. Your paint looks great, can't wait for my paint job this year.

thanks...well, since you have air ride already the hoses are probably laid out well. That was my major problem, the hoses need long bends and I didn't lay it out too well the first time around since I didn't have the hoses in place. Its a learning curve. In the first pic with the carpet the manifold was shooting straight down toward the trunk floor with hardly and room for the hoses to turn and clip into the fittings

I would mock up the manifold first as well as find a good spot for the compressor and tank. I used blocks of wood etc to mock the heights

I've been trying to sort out the air line routes this week. I added a plate to tilt the manifold at an angle
giving more space for the lines to turn without getting pinched. I also added some ptfe bushes which are longer than grommets for the rear lines. The grommets weren't holding well since the holes are drilled on a curved plate

a couple of decent pics, gotta get some good shots when its fully done. I`m thinking of going for hardlines as I had a couple of issues with hoses getting pinched through the wooden floor.
