The ride is the same the same basically, on the no 2 setting its in the most comfortable spot because its not too hard or too bouncy. I was procrastinating to install the sensors but once I got it done and ran through the calibration its fantastic, the height settings control air finely and its cool when it airs out and lifts at the same time. You should put the extra effort and go for it, its like going from regular air ride to air ride+++. The height sensors require some thought to install right but def worth it.

I have been procrastinating with the install of the e-level sensors because it involves fab work....have you noticed a huge difference in anything since you've installed it? is the ride significantly better?

At long last I found some time to add the height sensors to the system..Here's a few pics that might help other guys building a w115 with e-level.

A lift makes the job a lot easier

I welded the ball joint to the sway bar instead of drilling it

Haven't updated this thread in a while, in summer the dragstrip opens and everyone can race each other...I raced the benz against my friend's beetle obviously I lost but on the way back raised and lowered the car a couple of times and the crowd went mad and started cheering...good times.

I also got a new garage for the Merc

my first intro to them was when they restored on on Wheeler Dealers.
and Paul Walker owned the Mexico version
