Slow progress ... hard to find time to work on the thing.

Rear shock mounts are back, tie rod flip kit and heim joint setup is done, now just the clevis im waiting on.

Until i get a chance to order some 5" rear springs Im just going to cut one of the old ones to at least nail down the ride height, not somthing i want to drive on though

Also got some 195/45r16's from a friend ... far too tall im affraid, have to find somthing else. 195/40R16? 165/45r16?

... also, was at my friends new shop over the weekend, its part of a pretty huge old Kraft plant, pretty neat place for pictures ... planning to go back with my Nikon although my photography is decidedly weak lol

EDIT - looking at the pic of the lower bit of the coilovers .... awesome run in the paint, goddamn im good hahaha

I finally took some time to do work on this thing.

rough assembled the front coils ... dissapointing !!

I had really expected it to be lower then that. This is with the spring they came with, and with preload ... I guess Il have to go shorter springs in the front? Or raise the front strut tops? Rear is just sitting on stock shocks with no springs ... I can set it quite a bit lower, but hte front is going to be an issue.

Anyways, I had to put an engine in a friends Tercel ... and didnt want to work in the rain .... so had to put my 94 outside. This is the first time its been back outside in quite a while. The front wheels are the Phantoms with 195/45R16s, 15.. spacer and 25mm adapter. rears are a pair of E30 BBSs with 195/60R14 bolted straight to the drum.

Theres still lots to do, but it was nice to see it on its own wheels again.

      ...

so yeah, nothing major, obviously I need to change somthing in the front and I need to paint the front lower mounts so they dont rust ... but yeah.

Also got my "shift knob" in ... 1940's USSR flag topper lol

Nothing major, but my wheel adapter arrived and I had a few minutes so I mounted it up.

Yes, I understand how ridiculous it is to put a steering wheel in a car that's nowhere near complete, but I wanted to see what it looked like in there.

Once I get some new springs il set the front at the right height il get some fenders back on it and see how it all sits.

Also picked up another 5e to put on the stand to make up the tuck harness.

Kind of looks like a kp61 without a bumper or headlights.

would be interesting if you put some fender mirrors, KP61 head lights and some sort of modded bumper on there. I never liked the front of the tercel.

Clearly this is not mine, but I'm loving the chopped roof.

I have lots to do before this point arrives

Surprisingly, this is actually a local car that the guy built a few years ago

I would photoshop a pic of my own car before I cut anything. The wheels/kit kinda throw it off. That's also a fair bit higher then mine is.

I ended up selling both the Sparco and Recaro ... Got a pair of old school MOMOs but I think il probably use them in the 98 and rock the stock paseo interior on the 94

Picked up some different wheels for it. I didnt really know what they were till after I got them home and did a little searching.

I liked the 16's because they were a deal, but they looked too big IMO.

Tires are alot cheaper too... $41 each in the US. (165/55r14)

                              Hayashi / Chowini 14x7, 0 offset (i think)

Picked these up on impulse too.
