    Not a major update.

Still too cold out there for my preference, but I braved it for a few hours today. I can always light up the salamander to take the chill off, but the humidity go's to over 9000 and the fumes will eventually kill you.

Basically started putting the engine back together. Also started to mock up turbo placment (not for this particular Tercel, but for my 98), It was just easier on this one since theres no exhaust on it at all.

Damn tires are still on backorder (165/55r14)

Once Ive done somthing worth photographing Il post more pics

    All went fairly well

Always been curious what a properly done up tercel would look like. Can't wait. Btw you are getting some awesome deals on awesome wheels. Jealous.

          Thanks guys.

I'm looking forward to being able to drive it again. The tire problem is being a real PITA. Withou being able to fit the wheels and tires I don't know what else needs to be done on the suspension. Once it's together and driving again I can figure out what's next.

I traded off the Centras for a second set of E30 basketweaves with good Falken 615s, so I could have 2 sets of wheels for the 98.

Also ordered a couple new shift knobs from Aleks, so I'm looking forward to that.

Did you use to own a cb7? If not there is a guy on CB7tuner with your username.

I never thought I'd like tercels but this is awesome man!

I thought that was you. I wanna see it with the 14's looks so sweet! I loved your cb, it was rusty but I liked what you did with it. Your car was some motivation to me to slam my car

I wanna see more of this yota, I like where this is going.

Ah!! I'm in love with the Hayashis. SELL THEM TO ME.

But no, really, I'm so happy you switched to 14's. Anything bigger would not look right on this car. Maybe a spacer in the rear? Whatever. They look stunning.

Finally got the “right” springs for the front …. 450lb 6” mystery springs … they’ll have to be replaced with something a little better later on but at least I know I can get to the right height now.

The hear is going to require some kind of bastardized spring mount since there’s very little space between the shock mounts now. Thinking bag mounts on the frame and the top of the beam, then going with strut bags on the front coilover bodies. I wasn’t going to go air in the beginning, but it seems like it could be convenient.

Engine still needs to be wired, but it complete now (save for the header, which is out getting the 02 bung moved)

After waiting 9 million years for the 165/55R14’s to come off back order …. They’re still on goddamn backorder.. with no ETA. I found a place in the states that has a decent price on 165/60R14’s so hopefully they’ll look ok. Just have to sort out the shipping.

The tires that are on it now are the same rolling diameter so at least I can see where everything sits while I wait on the 14’s.

Hung the fenders back on and rolled it outside for a few pics.

Red car is lowered about an inch ..

With wheels on … Rear is on point, front has an extra 15mm spacer that needs to go (is only there so I can bolt the wheel on) and needs to be cambered. From the look of it there will be some fender pulling too lol.

Also picked up a new steering wheel and greasy Remus muffler

Collection is not out of hand at all
