Yeah, after more research it looks like the boxster engine mount and early M96 mount are the same. I confirmed last night that this hardened mount should work: http://www.tarett.com/items/996-997-...unt-detail.htm

I still might go the window weld route, it's stronger than stock, but not as hard as the solid mount. It's a $20 mod, so definitely worth a shot. Annnnd some turbo cars have been running window weld at much higher power levels, so it should work for me.

There's a few different options than window weld that will give you a better result, and also allow you to choose how stiff the mount will be.

Check over at Pedro's Garage, he might be able to rebuild your mount. It looks VERY similar to the Boxster front engine mount. I'm using one of his for my 3.4l conversion, they are excellent quality.

I took a picture of the trans mount, which I'm debating on replacing. But definitely going to fill with window weld since there are no aftermarket mounts for this trans.
