I just placed my order on Rockauto for my control arms and missing fog delete, ECS for tons of pending parts/swaybar bolts/brackets/bushings and tie rods, and Treehouse Racing eyeball arms. I was surprised that it all totals up to $639=) Not bad at all.

Sucks to be them then. Why did they give us such a large bar?

Yesterday was Christmas in October=)
First off this all arrived shortly after I got home.
Of course I started with my box from Kitty since it was the best.
I open it to see this guy sitting in there
She never told me a birthday present was coming with the mirrors=)
I figured it would be the usual BMW shirt or maybe a cool picture. I was way wrong. This is probably one of the best gifts I have ever gotten in my life.
This is a super rare piece of 318ti history. I did not know the story behind it until she told me. Only 300 of these were given out to the public. This model was a limited Edition for an image movie that BMW wanted the TI-owners to create for an annual movie back in 1995. Everyone that registered to send in their film got this package as a reward. That's why the car came in a film case. Normally this model is only found wihout all the stuff (BMW pencil and filming tips), but finding the complete set is very rare. She got it from a collector just for my birthday=) I will take the best care possible for it.
After openening that it I knew nothing could be as cool. My mirrors came in at a close second. The glass is a little dirty around the edges, but they are mint otherwise.
I don't believe Madeira Schwarz was available in the US and I have never seen it before. What an amazingly beautiful color. It is right up there with Diamond Schwarz and Calypso in my mind.
The last two boxes were my missing fog delete and my Treehouse Racing Eyeball arms. I threw the eyeball arms on my control arms just so I didn't have to haul a ton of boxes to the shop. (not sure if I put them on the right sides, tried figuring it out from their website picture)
Today after work I will be fitting the mirrors to see how they look and I will tinker with a few other things. I will be out there tomorrow too as well.

Almost forgot the updates from this weekend.
Friday I got the mirrors installed as soon as I got out of work. I am really happy with how they look on the car.
I stuck my missing fog delete in too. I really like how they look. I may source an extra ///M bumper and completely shave the foglight holes. It looks kinda cool. I need to figure out the white balance on my phone to take better pictures.
Anyways, I was also in the process of swapping out my drivers side seat belt adjuster, but didn't have the right size Torx bit. I grabbed one on the way home and got back to work Saturday morning. Here is the old and new (old left, new right)
You can't really see the problem much. I ended up breaking the original when I was removing my headliner a while back. I tried fixing it but it kept going off track. Kitty sent me a new one with the mirrors and it works flawlessly=)
After I got that done I finished removing my steering rack by getting the tie rods unbolted from the knuckles. I need to buy a case of brake cleaner so I can clean it up and then see where the leak is coming from.
I did not get anything else done because a local member swung by and I installed a set of coilovers on his e36. We has a pesky bolt that wouldn't come undone for over an hour and upon reinstallation, I snapped it in half. We sourced a bolt easily at the local store and finished it up as soon as we got back.
I am hoping I can get at least something done this week. Fingers crossed
