Dude your attention to detail on this build is just insane, and inspiring.

I don't think i've ever actually seen one of these over here in the UK that's been done tastefully like this. There usually sat on cut springs with a welded diff in them and are held together with cable ties and duct tape, mainly living on redline going sideways around roundabouts until the bottom end flies out of the sump hahaha, looks ace this does tho dude. Love it

Man. I hope that one day i have the time, money, and patience to put this kind of work into my car. Sometimes i fear it will be too far gone by then though :/

Still not sold on the idea of deleting the handbrake... but still everything looks top notch as usual.

3D print that lip! In all seriousness though nice progress. Can't wait to see this car finished!

The blocking software at work isn't working today so I can now update this.
I threw in my OEM Bosch Projectors to get ready for my wiring simplification/extension.
I also bit the bullet and ordered my Driveshaft Specialist of Texas rebuilt driveshaft.
I saw a guy had modified a set of jack pads to keep them from falling out so I had to do it as well.*
I just drilled and tapped them in the center for an m8x1.25 countersunk bolt. It wasn't too bad of a process. Now when the pad is inserted into the rocker, you install the bolt and the clips cannot move inward enough to pop out.*
Another new thing is that I sold my 1996 328iS. This meant that I had my late bumper Racing Dynamics list sitting around with no use. Out of sheer luck a guy contacted me asking if the lips differed between late and early bumpers. He just purchased one that happened to be for an early bumper, but he needed a late one. We set up the trade and he so kindly had his shipped to me first so that I could show the differences between the two. I was super stoked to have this opportunity and now we both have the lips that*we want.*
Another new thing is that since the car lays frame when aired out, the handbrake is somewhat unnecessary and it would look better without one in the console. I made a template for the hole and just need to sacrifice another console to make the filler piece.*
The last thing is that I just picked up another compact to drift once I finish this one. I already gutted it of most of the interior to sell off to pay for the chassis (let me know if you need anything). I also took the wheels off as I already have a set of rollers and the tires on it are nice enough to sell. It should be plenty fun once I get around to it. The M44 will stay in until it blows up.
Happy Halloween

Haha thank you=) I knew I wanted a personal plate for this car and this was one of the first that I thought of and it was pretty fitting

Everyone just complimented the quality and attention to detail in your build and I'm with them, but I must say your "trunkless" plate cracks me up xD

Thank you very much=) I have a bit of updating to do in this thread as I dont have access to photobucket at work anymore and havent wanted to update from my phone.
I will spoil it though and say I did just pick up another compact for dirt cheap to build as a drift car after I finish this one haha
