Got laid off yesterday. So SOWO is a no go this year, and this will become a slow build. Which sucks.

Had a flat the other day, finally had the time to take the tire off.

So I will be picking up either another pair of 205/50/16s today, or 195/50/16. Not sure yet.

Small update. Gotta stop being lazy.

I got the shocks installed. Wasn't too bad. Had a few exciting moments. But it rides like a new car. Loving it.

Snapped 3/4 bolts holding the rears to the control arm. Good thing they came with new hardware. Those were an experience to get out.

I also found a nice hole in one of my resonators, not like they did much anyway. The exhaust dumps there. I bought tubing to fix it and add my tips, but haven't had the chance to install it.

Should be getting my fenders rolled soon, gonna try to fit 255s under it. I gotta find a set of braided lines for the brakes before they can go on, then get that all installed. Car is coming together, I've got leads on a motor/trans and will be painting it in March. I'll have it at SOWO for sure.

Calipers came in as well. Brand new 560SEL, my Porterfield carbon-kevlar pads came in as well.

Oh, and a random under car shot. Not really sure why I took it.

Brake fluid came in today, also picked up a K&N filter for it. New calipers will be here the 27th, and pads should be here sometime soon as well.

Apparently ATE Super Blue isn't street legal in Florida because of its blue color.

    New parts in!

Everything but the rotors will be installed this weekend. I gotta order pads and new calipers before the rotors go on. Pretty fucking stoked, very happy to get off my ass and fix this thing.

Yeah, the lip is bothersome, but its on the back burner at the moment, the car needs a motor/trans before that. Its gonna be at SOWO, so I'm working towards that.

Got a set of cryo-treated slotted and vented rotors on the way too. Will be ordering a set of Porterfield R4-S pads next paycheck. I have the bank now, but I've already spent over a grand in two days, so I feel bad. Lol.

Super excited to get this thing fixed. I'm 90% sure it'll be done before SOWO.

    New parts on the way.

I'm on the hunt for a 3.23 or 3.47 LSD diff for it, as well as some 5x112 to 5x120.65 adapters in the smallest size possible. And if somebody happens to have a good shape Euro 5.0 M117 in FL I want it as well. Also, if anybody has a recommendation for a exhaust shop in CFL, let me know. I just need to run some 2.25 straight pipe.

The car was bought in Germany, then shipped here in 1982, I could fix the rust, but it was pretty disheartening. And yeah, I meant the air cleaner. Lol

But regarding your choice of paint - flat black... i must say, that i wish you would reconsider, it will do no justice to such an old an classic car in my opinion.

I was thinking that or having my buddy polish it. Which I like the polish better, but getting my friends to do shit is a story in its self.

Put a 5.6 V8 air cleaner on her. Will be ordering a K&N filter Friday, and probably will hit the junkyard for the brake calipers off this 87 560. Gonna probably paint it a flat black, I dunno yet. Still waiting to get my fenders rolled.
