Anyway, car looks awesome! New (old) wheels are freakin' killing it too man, don't bother listening to the ****** out in the world, cause when they see it they'll understand
Thank so much for the kind words, man! It feels good to have people say things like that, you know?

props to you man, i really enjoyed every part of this thread, you're humble, your car is simple and seems to be more than effective, daily driven, what else?
I wish that there were more threads like this to read!
I really love the 15" Panasport, i always had a soft spot for this look of wheels (RS-watanabe / Compomotive / Minilite / Panasport...) and plan to buy a set in the future.
Can't wait to see the 13" on!
Keep up the great work and keep us updated!
I do too. I just love any old school wheel really, but these "banana spoke" wheels really seem to work on these cars.
HEY! Buy my old ones! They're pretty minty.
Again, thanks so much. Best comment in the thread so far.

Now go ahead and get this thing back on the road, we have racecar(or streetcar in your case) things to do!
It's road legal as of today
We shall do racecar things on Wednesday. Get ready for the fun.
Well everybody, I was pretty bummed out these passed couple days because my tires were supposed to arrive all of those days. BUT TODAY IS THE DAY. I was so excited when the UPS truck pulled up. You all know that feeling. But sadly it was almost 5:00 and that's when everyone closes. But I thought I'd call the tire shop anyways. What do you know? They close at 7:00 today! Cool freakin' beans. So I toted everything down there. Tires went on perfectly, no scratches on the wheels, and no troubles balancing them either.
So here it is. There was no light so the few pictures I have are a little poor. But nevertheless, I present to you my car on 13's.
p.s. It's lower now too. (because of the tires)
I love the look so much. It's got that meaty-ness to it. Looks more a like a track car now and not a show car.

Thanks, gents!
So I did some cleaning today. Basically just polished everything up. I'm not going to refinish the wheels or anything, I like the worn look. I did however sand down some rash on a couple of the lips with some 600 grit. Turned out nicely. Tires should be here any day now.
Here's some before and after of the center caps.

Thanks guys! It's pretty nice coming to this site and having encouragement on this car. All the other car people on my area own riced-out, fart canned nastiness and always tell me how dumb I am for wanting 15's or 13's and a cassette player. Or they drive Slowstangs and think their car is the Swiss cheese. Get's old.
So thank you all
Anyways, I bought 185/60/13 Nexen tires and shank style lugs today! Everything should be here next week. Spacers will be coming after I put the wheels on and measure how much I can space them out after a roll/pull.
Therefore, I shall leave you with some totally rad pics that, again, Stuart (Funfgang) took. Isn't he just the cooliest?
The shop's all clean now, don't worry. :P

In any event, when I was 17 my Dad and I turbo'd my EJ8 D16Y8 and I raced sometimes at PRP. Pretty cool to see a similar situation...some of my favorite memories are from that phase of life.
