That's odd. I have ebay coil sleeves which are really the same thing. My fronts are all the way down with both collars still there, and the rears are all the way down with (I'm guessing) 3 coils cut off.

Your tires are exactly 1/2 an inch taller than mine so you would be only about a 1/4 inch higher if all else was the same. I don't know, man, that's weird! Your springs must just be taller.

p.s. You can definitely go that low with that setup because that's basically what I have. The shorter tires obviously help a ton too... I don't know what tires you have.
Definitely. I like to someday move my ed7 towards a street-racer vibe but for now I'm just pursuing a low/slow daily

I don't see how you can get that low with them though; the ots Ground Controls only offer a 3.5" drop. Taking out the sleeves might give me another half inch but that's still not enough for me. It's weird because I keep hearing everyone saying that Blues/GCs will slammmm EFs but I can't figure out how it's done. Thoughts?

And I'm running 165/50r15 Federals on 15x7 XXRs

Ugh, that sucks man. I have the same problem with my trans but I have an auto so it hangs low and is all flat like the oil pan.

Looks like you're almost about to scrap through your down pipe lol. But 5*'s man..

Yesterday I wanted to pull the car on the lift just to go over everything after it had been sitting all winter as well as change the oil and replace a torn CV boot. This was the first time I tried to pull it on with the 13's and, well... I can't just pull it on anymore. The cross-member catches on the ramp so I have to place boards before as well as after the ramp or else the downpipe (although even with the oil pan) would be lower than the ramp once the wheels have passed over it. Yaay for more of a hassle... not.
Also I'm scraping through the trans. ugh.

GREAT. Go buy one. They are cheap and make your front end look sick nasty aggressive.

Lucky. I wish I could go lower. Stupid tall B-series junk hanging out all over the place.
I'd like to see the wago. Do you have a link to pics or a build thread?

So today I just did some little stuff I had been wanting to get around to but just haven't.

The first thing was to adjust the rear brake shoes because they weren't grabbing and only the fronts would lock up in gravel. CHECK. (No pics of that because that would be lame).

I then made a dumptube and took my wastegate apart, cleaned and painted it, as well as lapped the valve in with valve grinding compound ( It had gotten a bit rusty inside and I could see light through the valve seat). I only took pictures of the dumptube. I've actually been running without one for a couple months last year and a week or so this year. Last year, my old one just fell off in a driveway. It was so weird. The welds didn't crack or anything like that and the bolts didn't come out... the steel just cracked all the way around. I would guess from the extreme heat, but I don't really know. So this one is thicker tubing.

The last thing I did was to get my old cargo cover to fit around the roll bar. I had started this when I was like 17 and just gave up thinking I would never be able to finish it properly. Little did I know I was about 20 minutes away from completion. It's always really cool to see something we did years ago and think, "why did I do it that way?" or "oh my gosh this is so easy now, why didn't I just use this method instead?"

Well... I think that stuff's cool at least. But anyways, my car is now like .2% closer to looking like a stock Civic. Yaay!

I also painted the intercooler semi-gloss black. More stock Civic points.
