If anything I will lower the front flare because I mounted it higher so that I can enjoy full lock turns and stuff rub free. I plan on shaving the rolled edge on the flare a bit so that I can get a bit more clearance, but really I'm waiting for some type of camber adjustment to be developed for the front.Originally posted by projektzwo View Postlower it and will be perfect...

thanks yo.
Got the 4th wheel back on yesterday, the reseal I did seems to be holding up and I ground out some things inside the wheel well. But when I was looking around in there to see what it was rubbing on I'm pretty sure it wasn't rubbing at all. I think what happened was that the wheel had a very slow leak and when I drove it the tire pressure dropped, and then the inner sidewall just ripped all around since thats where the bulk of the weight of the car sits.
Nothing really exciting here, just a bolt that was coming through the wheel well, I ground it off for good measure but I'm certain it never touched the tire. I'm thinking I should throw some paint on the area or maybe some more of that lining, maybe even Plastidip to prevent rust.

Same story here, this is what I thought the problem was, raised the seam a bit just to be safe.

Here's a pick of the carnage, had to get animal to get the wheels on haha. Cut out quite a bit of the well and pounded the hell out of w/e that structure up there was haha. Before I did this the well and whatever was behind it sat probably 2 inches lower. So I had to beat the arch higher to accommodate for the 18x11s. NO I am not going to leave it like this, soon I will have some thin sheet metal or something welded over it.

Some more carnage, too bad my old UCA clearance mod wasn't enough for how it sits now. The actual arm was banging on the strut tower too, and the other side of the arm towards the left side of the pic near the firewall, is resting on the wall so not much I can do there. I know it looks horrible now like I'm just destroying the car but when I clean it up and get it welded it will be legit.

Notice the arm is still very close to the tower, however I can not keep cutting chunks out of it haha.

This was my old setup, 3" rings welded in and then I fiberglassed around the welds and cleaned it up. The new plan is to create rectangular boxes instead of rings, and then weld a top on that's raised, maybe 3/4 of an inch or however much the hood will allow. I do prefer the rings with the balljoints sitting inside the bay though.

Damn man, nice work! I didn't think I was going to like the over fenders but they definitely grew on me.

Thanks man, when I bought them I wanted to have them refinished asap because I didn't like the idea of blue wheels, I didn't choose to have them powdercoated this color they were already done. However I actually like the blue now, and I have decided to put money towards other things (fenders/brakes). Still in debate as to what color though, w/e it is has to be even better than the blue yet it can't be more boring haha.Originally posted by sally pu View PostMy god, this car is legit! Way to make this big body Lex looks ridiculously out of control! It looks so hard with the new wheels, have you thought about what color to refinish them in though? that blue is Narsty ;- /
thanks, kind of a crazy idea I had and its definitely different because most people would only consider these cars VIP. In my opinion if its nice its going to be nice regardless of how you style it as long as you execute it cleanlyOriginally posted by Rali@BagRiders View PostDamn man, nice work!
