thanks for all the love guys
those guys will do anything for some money hahaOriginally posted by jcflowers View PostMade me laugh, hahaha.
the car has to be holding some sort of record for being sunk, when it was just chillin all 4 civic wheels on it looked like it was aired out. something like 16x6.5s hahaOriginally posted by Lukey View Postdo a burnout!
yeah me too but they are freshly coated blue and the lips and barrels are new as well so I'm not in a rush to get the faces refinished. My main priority is to get the wheels on the carOriginally posted by aLaFleur View PostKilled it! I can't wait to see the wheels in a different color.
I also finally bought an impact gun. It was on sale for 99$ for fathers day and it's 100% warrantied for 3 years so I will get my moneys worth out if it. Not sure if it's true or not that Craftsman's quality has gone down or not since I don't own many power tools from them, but I have no problem with any of their hand tools.

thanks mayne, I was really looking for some cerbs but at the time wasn't having any luck, and then these popped up and I decided to swoop them because I've only seen one other set of Anhelos in similar sizing. And then last week I saw CZ wheels selling a set of cerbs for the exact same price as these and it broke my heart a little hahaOriginally posted by Daviticus View PostEven with blue faces, those wheels are legit as hell on your LS.

I had to grind out another half inch or so of the fender arch for more clearance and then 5mm spacers came in when I was putting front flares on so it worked out nicely. Spacers are for suckers but w/e, anything over 10mm is cheating imo haha,

IMG_4437 by KEV.E, on Flickr
then as I was drilling through the flare and fender I forgot I had tucked my harness up into the fender and drilled right through it, once again had to solder the harness.

I plan on shaving the washer nozzles off the hood soon so while I was down there I decided to take out my washer fluid reservoir, one less line running across the wheel arch.

and this is the result, Work Anhelo 18x10 -1 with 5mm spacer so now -6.

So when I drilled into the harness I blew two 40a fuses and lost all electronic functions, no power steering, no window controls, no speedo, no music etc. Picked up some new 40a fuses but they weren't exactly what I needed so I had to basically make my own fuse. Here's the original one

took out the pins so that I could salvage the housing

IMG_4501 by KEV.E, on Flickr
here's the new one, basically the pins come straight out of the side instead of downwards and the rails were backwards too.

IMG_4504 by KEV.E, on Flickr
Pulled this out of the housing and bent it backwards the opposite way to get the rails facing the proper direction

IMG_4506 by KEV.E, on Flickr
and then popped it into the original housing from earlier

here's one that's completed vs how they came

thanks yall, the blue is pretty saucy though, and the flares are gnar too. Originally I was planning to mold them to the body so it would just be a widened panel with no seams, but the raw look of the flare has grown on me too. I'll stick with it for now
