That bumper mod is incredible, it's almost like a facelift.
Can't wait to see the new wheels

they are 16x9, ET35. I am going to be running my current adapters and see what happens... going to be sitting at a -10 offset. probably going to have to get some new adapters or shave these down. i'm having a tough time on tires right now, looking at 195/50 or 205/45. i don't mind pulling my fenders a bit to make them work, but I need a similar rolling diameter due to the shit roads around here, I can't really go lower than I am now. I want to get rid of all the rake i'm running right now with the big difference in tires sizes front to rear. That may help my issues with hitting everything

my buddy mike ended up powdercoating the centers and bolts for me before h20, I would have never been done with out him. originally were supposed to be darker but the PC didn't dry correctly the first time for some reason. so they were stripped AGAIN and redone... almost didn't have them in time!

I got the wheels back on thursday afternoon... put them together friday morning

got my big ass tires mounted 205/50/16... mainly because its all i could get my hands on with such sort notice. wish i bought 4 brand new after i had so many issues on the way down to h20

                then i fitted them

after getting a flat on the way to OC, MD and then having another one slowly leaking, almost didn't have 4 matching wheels for the weekend. but I ended up plugging the dead one after nobody down in MD would mount a 205/50 on a 9" rim

(excuse my serious driving face here haha)

realized it needed to come down a bit more so me and my brother lowered both of our cars a little more in our hotel lot

                ended up with this

h2o was a blast overall. with school right now didn't have time to get my car exactly where i wanted it but alteast i got the wheels on it. had a great time with old friends and some new ones. on the way back 2 of the bottom bolts came out of my p/s coilover, which sketched me out hard. luckily the second one came out right as i got into my parking lot because i probably would have wrecked the car otherwise. getting 2 tires mounted and fixing the coil issue this weekend. trying to figure out why the bolts came out after driving the car problem free since april with the old wheel setup, hoping the two have nothing to do with each other

This car is real clean, I love it. Seems like those 16x9s could be alittle more...out though.

I prefered the saw blades on your car, but these look good too!

yeah man i agree. I thought a 16x9 -10 was going to have much more poke than this, but for now it'll do. eventually I want to find a 3 piece set to be able to run some big lips

thanks man. I didn't mind the sawblades on the car but it was time for a change. They were just played... I'm having a tough time selling them because I feel like everyone is afraid to run sawblades now, thats so two years ago

all these new e28 threads popping up make me realize how I have been neglecting the car bad the past few weeks/months... school has been killing me.

hoping to shoot the car before i go into winter mode next week. throwing some 14" meshies I have laying around on and raising it up a tad, don't want to ruin the gotti's.

once this semester is over i should be working more and continuing the build... going to fully polish the lips of the barrels and get some smaller tires for the gotti's, try to dial in the stance a bit more once spring hits.

l graduate in may so long term i want to boost the car or swap something else in, possibly go the air route, etc. this is once i have another daily around.

they are 45mm all around. with the springs i needed a 3mm spacer up front, so you would need 48mm. with coilovers the 9.5" wide wouldn't fit up front, I got the 8.5/9.5 setup. I ran 56mm up front (+0 effective offset) and 50mm rear (et6 effective offset).

Have a prospective trade for an E34 touring converted to 5speed. always wanted one, but don't now if i could get rid of this for it.
