It sucks you are having clearance issues up front, but I can't wait to see pics. Hopefully you find a set of narrower sawblades without much trouble.

thanks man! I just got the word. Car will be on silver staggered sawblades this weekend, eventually getting color but I leave on a boat again for 3 months in like 2 weeks, so I am trying to get the car together this weekend for the Tristatetuners Spring Meet and then just to enjoy until I put her away for a few months

I think the silver is going to look awesome against the black. Good luck out there on the boat, and stay safe. Hopefully you get the car to where you want it before you take off

this thing is fitted properly! and I honestly am not a huge fan of vette wheels, but the white goes with the black. very classy and simple, and the work with the bumpers, +1

So this weekend I got the wheels on, rolled my front fenders a little (just eliminating the lip on the inside, not flaring them at all), dialed the coils in, and attempted to build a skid plate but ran out of time.

                  the wheels

when I went to swap the tires I had the car sit on some 14" BBS with old Hoosier race slicks that came with my car when I bought it

then I rolled the fenders and swapped the wheels on. They are sitting at 17x8.5 +0 Front, 17x9.5 +6 Rear

Proper shoot coming. I leave in about 2 weeks so this is where the car is going to be at for a while. I think it ended coming out clean.

I haven't really had a chance to look at an e28 up close but I never thought those wheels wells were so big! I'm surprised that an 8.5" wheel with 0 offset isn't poking out of the front fender, awesome. Car looks great btw.

yeah they can take alot, its proving the vette wheels are just too high of an offset for the car.

I drove back up to new york with no skid plate today... I think I took about 5 years off my life, but made it with my oil pan in one piece... one of my headlights popped out though

Car is looking amazing man! I think I like the silver sawblades more than the white ones What size tires are you running on the staggered set of blades?

the tires are 215/40 up front, 225/45 out back. the rake is a bit much so eventually i want to get 205/40's up front and 215/40 out back.

I like the silver better than the white now that I have had them on the car for a few days, make the car look a bit cleaner

I haven't updated this in forever... probably because nothing much has changed. Before I left I cracked my oil pan. My buddy put a new pan on when I was gone so it didn't sit with the cracked pan. I raised the front a bit and put on a raceskids plate. It has already saved me so many times in the month I have been driving the car again, but at my current ride height it sits so low to the ground i literally hit everything and my car isn't even THAT low. So I need to figure something out with that.

In other news I really want to get rid of the sawblades. they look good but the offsets are just too high to get the poke i want, esp. up front. I am toying with the idea of going to 16's, we'll see. I have no money so it'll probably be a while unless someone buys my current setup.

Other than that will be getting the car ready for h20 in the next few weeks, just little things to clean up no big changes. I want to lower it more for the weekend but with my skid plate being so low i doubt it'll happen

Loving the bumpers, might just do this to mine.
