Cooling issues were my biggest set backs too. Good luck with hashing it all out.

well did a compression test, everything checked out there so i built a little fitting to pressurize my coolant system to see if i could force it out while not running. the fitting i made to bleed off to rad was the problem . so good news there but bad news as car was still lacking boost so back to trouble shooting. when i would get on it it lacked any real turbo feel, more linear power. sometimes smoke from tail pipes, sometimes just from turbo housing, sometimes just at long idle, sometimes not at all. after i took it out for a warm up run i brought it back and seen the smoke coming from turbo. oil was leaking onto the housing. looking around there is where i found a lot of shaft play. looking online i have found the holset needs a larger drain line than most. i had to make a angled drain fitting to clear the compressor housing and i knew it was the issue. need to figure that out and i ordered a turbo rebuild kit. now i would say that it should be good to go after that but i've let myself down to many timesIf you're ordering custom adapters, call 775.530.2483 to make sure you are getting exactly what you want.
