    Cool, thanks.

If i can get some used tires at work, i'll try the 18" Borbets i have...
If i like it i can built something with a set of Steinmetz/BBS centers
Maybe the Breytons, Cygnus or Mitos we'll see

But i think i can't go as low with 18s as i can with 17s...

That Omega woud be a nice upgrade...
If i'm not mistaken that "upgarde" was built by a guy called Opel-Frank.
He builts some serious shit, lots of real DTM, Lotus or Irmscher parts...
    Engines, transmissions, rear axles, brakes...

But i'm not that big Omega B Fan.., but that engine.., mmm.

    Mini update...

    The auto-trans is history...

I found a parts car or technically the lower half of something what
    was a wagon...
So i can't get sentimental attached to it

That means i can do some performance mods!
But the manuel swap may be the best mod by far...

i feel like you would be getting a better result on 18's on account of your wheel wells being so big

multipiece wheels, so you can build em how you want

    keeping track of this btw

    i like the oddball cars

and when you get sick of it

trade it in for the upgrade

also if i'm not mistaken you can fit all sorts of cadillac (catera i think) pieces

Yes i did.., but the shop called and said the only have the V1 in
stock.., i ordered another set from another shop, maybe they
    arrive this weekend.

Well these bbs look quite good, but the problem with the arches from the
Omega is the front needs a high (25+) offset and the rear takes a 0 offset
    like nothing...
Atm im running 17x7.5 ET21 up front and 17x9 ET-12 on the rear...
So if my math skills don't let me down, witch they do a lot, something like
    17x9 ET~25 and 17x11 ET~10 sould be possible...
We'll see when the coils are on...

With the tweeter, not perfect but nobody will see it...

This is the spot where i park my car, either my car attracts dirt
or the dirt doesn't want to be on the car...

It's far from awesome, you should have kept yours, they 're getting hard to find...
    I try not to disappoint!

So, the 215/45 are on, surprisingly they 're not much wider then the 205/40 i had,
but they fill the arches much better...

    The Audio stuff:

Just need the Radio, and need to figure out how to mount the fronts a bit further in...
The rear speakers, they 're mounted in the tailgate, will need a adapterplate.
    Like that...

    Just a rough shape, though...
The four points you can see are the orginal mounting points, the three
    blue marks are the new.
I dicovered one of the tweeter isn't working, so i'll use them too.
The adapterplate will be similar to the one above.

New fronts in, need to think about a cover...

    The old ones.., quite bad...

New 3000 grill is here too, need to make it fit with the non 3000 bumper, some
cutting and drilling should do it...

    The tailgate spoiler:

But not just a spoiler, it's a super rare SFJ one, i only found another one in
    the netherlands, pretty exclusive
It needs to be restored, the paint is chipped and there is a crack in it.

Headlights should arrive sometime this week.
    Transmision too...

    Thats it for now...

    Wait there is more...

    I bought coils.
    Took me long enough.

    Yay me!

Will replace all tophats, bearings, endlinks and other bits, while i'm at it.
That means i need a skitplate for my transmission, maybe i can raise it a little bit.

The exhaust will need to be raise about 1 inch, but well see...
    What drags, drags off, right...

Maybe i get 2mm shaved of the backpats in the rear, since they 're sitting pretty
much flush with the arches, or i get 215/45 for them too...

    kthxbye

Gonna put on some 215/45 on thursday, 205/40 look stupid...

This weekend i ordered new speakers, the old ones, being 22 years old,
are fucked.., the membrane of the front speakers was entirely gone...

Got some factory replacements from poineer, ts-q something,
same connectors and mounting points as the factory ones.
Got the some for front and rear...
Saves a lot of headache.., just need to build adapter for the rears and
the tweeters if i use them...

    And spend money...

    Radiatorcap
    Speakers front
    Speakers rear
    Tweeters
    Tailgatespoiler
    Frontlip
    Correct BBS hub
    New front grill
    Headlights

    Spending money is fun

Also looking for some period correct bucket seats...
Still need to do the timing belt etc., brakehoses and antenna too...

    And coils
