Never had that problem, maybe the bulbs are blown or a connector of the tacho is loose...

Does your car have the scandinavia lights modul?
Is a fuse in slot 7 in the fuseblock under the dash?

I wanted to fit it in my car, but no connectors in the fuseblock...

Lame update... just maintenance and stupid little things, like always...

Ripped the dash apart.., in order to replace some blown bulbs...
P4120036_zps68769d0f by Dominic ., auf Flickr

Replace the bulbs in the tacho, ashtay, heatercontrol, cigarette lighter
The ones in the heatercontrol and cigarette lighter still don't work, no clue why...
Fuses are ok, power is there maybe their socket is worn out...

While i was at it, i tought i replace the radio, because the one i currently
have in the car has cd/sd-card/radio/usb input, the sd card reader is the only
    one that works...
I had this radio out of a later model opel, i put it in and it worked.., kinda.
The volume control button doesn't work, maybe that's the reason why it
    only costs 5€...

So the old one is back in.

    Everything back together...

No wonder it was so gloomy...
P4130047_zpse556275a by Dominic ., auf Flickr

Bling, bling all in your face you might need to put on your shades
P4130054_zps234b4fed by Dominic ., auf Flickr

But somehow i managed to break the cable for the heatercontrols, so everything is
apart again, i deal with that tomorrow...

    All the small things...

Cleaned the lens of the licenseplate light.

    After
P4130052_zps28d8603b by Dominic ., auf Flickr

Changed the roof light or whatever that thing is called..,
to one from a Calibra or Vectra 2000, straight fit no changes needed.
Old one on top, new on the bottom.

    Much better

The thing with this arches is they arn't symmetric like the front, i found pics
of a wagon which has the rear arches like the fronts, i might do this to when
    i redo them...

Do you mean the Irmscher rims, they stay with me since the seem to be
fairly rare in this two tone configuration.

I did nothing i was supposed to do today...
No work on the seats, no clean out, no ehaust tip...
    Next!

My ABS light came on a few times this month, turns out the brakefluid had
    to be replaced...
Last thursday i changed it and flushed the brakesystem.
    Much better now.
As i was at it i cleaned the engine, transmission and diff.
Now i can look where the oil comes from, i think its mostly from above the
    trans.., we'll see.

As i stand under the frontbumper i noticed the right fastening was lose.
I thought i may tight it down, false...
    The bolt broke...

I put a new one in today.
P4050007_zps0dcdd3a7 by Dominic ., auf Flickr

Looks mad without the bumper, bash bar anyone
P4050001_zps8b34337a by Dominic ., auf Flickr
Still no indicator as you see

Since i had to remove the bumper anyway i did the loooong overdued things...
I think i never mentioned i had an accident with the car...
Long story short, winter/snow, RWD, night, mad JDM driftangle of sorts,
then iced-up road then huge pole...
Rolled around like this for a month and a half

P4050008_zps9d4b6f4d by Dominic ., auf Flickr
    Zip ties ftw.

Had to straighten the bumpersupport at 2 inthe night, the plastic cover was only
    held on with two bolts...
P4050010_zpse979e2fb by Dominic ., auf Flickr

So since then i had no foglights and grill, today i put them on...
    *Pic missing*
And i placed the licenseplate a little higher...

I have these also, oem french foglights, thats right no tint and nos...
P4050002_zps530aca3f by Dominic ., auf Flickr
Will swap them out if i fell like it.

Put the towhook cover back in, almost lost it.
Not gonna loose it this time...
P4050006_zps5fd7814b by Dominic ., auf Flickr

While i was working on the bumper i saw my radiator is leaking, oh yeah that's great...

I think i never showed the enginebay.., here it is with the glorious C20NE engine...
P4060018_zpsd4e549dc by Dominic ., auf Flickr

I cleaned the bay, no pic of the finished bay, but its much cleaner as it was before.
It was covered with some kind of dry brown stuff...

    Found rust... fml...
P4060024_zps02d599d5 by Dominic ., auf Flickr

Put the glovebox lid back in, i was tired of the net.
P4060013_zpsc9d3adfe by Dominic ., auf Flickr

And that's it for today, no pics of the finished product as it was already dark...
Now to get it tüved and then wheels, i can't wait much longer
When the style 40 are on this thing i'll borrow my buddys nikon and take some pics
which will still be not good but better then the current...

    See you next time.

    Did more stuff...

Changed the rubber drifeshaft joint thing yesterday because the inspector from the
TÜV can sometimes be a real dick, wasn't to bad but better save then sorry.

No pics because it was dark outside, they would be shitty anyway...

    Old:

My lugbolts arrived today, had some trouble finding short ones with a movable cone...
    Now they fit perfect.
P3080351_zpsb196d7f7 by Dominic ., auf Flickr
    They are from a Saab 9 5 3,0d.

Since they are +10 years old, they were a little rusty.
Because it sucks to have rusted lug bolts in shiny wheels i painted them.
I'm pleased with the outcome, even if it only lasts a year or two.
Paint was leftover at work and free, so how cares.

And i cleaned up the BBS steering wheel, oh boy it looks nice now, some patina and
dents but it'll fit it nicely, next is to find a hub and horn botton.

Tomorrow i'll try to make a template for the
seat brackets, spring clean out on friday and
i try to find my glove box lid and install it.
Saturday i'll fit a new exhaust tip...

    Bye
