really disliked this build at the start because of the 5.0 but the more i read online about people doing the 5.0 swap in e30's like on r3vlimited its starting to tempt me to replace my motor...

Its an awesome swap, but you do have to pretty much permanently modify your car. Thats the only thing I warn people about, other than that its an awesome swap.

Yep, lsx motors are definitely being done. A bit pricey for the conversion stuff, but definitely worth it imo.
