And not yet, I'm only running on this regulator for about a month before I upgrade.
Yeh, if you cut voltage to the choke it will close and that's no bueno.
Dude, you're gonna need a gauge. The step down from fuel injection to carb'd is a huge drop in pressure. 30psi to 5-8 psi. Don't hose your new carb in the effort to get a car on the road.
If you want/need help setting up, shoot me a pm (I live in perry hall) I'd be glad to help in any way.

what size and what kind carb you getting for the 302? Yeah summit and jegs flower you with free stuff if you order enough stuff from them, plus they have free and fast (usually 2 days) shipping. Can't wait to see this thing up and running man

Thanks man! And yeah, Summit has blown me away with shipping times. Though, if somethings out of stock you're pretty much screwed.

Its a 600cfm Edlebrock. For now.
yeah true, if they're out of stock you could always try Jegs. A 600 should be good for what you're running atm. I was running a performer RPM Edelbrock intake, with a voodoo cam, on my 289 bored 40 over with a 150 shot of n20 with my edelbrock 600 and it never ran lean so you should be good with what you're running on the 5.0.

Great to hear actually! I'm a little worried about the float situation though. I've been talking to the only other person I know running a carb'd 302 in an e30 and he was having really bad fuel starvation issues while drifting.
Looks good. I am leaving back up to pa either Tuesday or Wednesday if you still need help or want to chill and kick tires.
Dude, come by tuesday. Were (hopefully) finishing up everything except the brakes, and it be great to have some company and somebody who knows these engines.
