CubbyChowder finally got a BMW 2002 - it's project time
I think rolling the fenders now is a good idea. **** to see you get it all painted and then have an accident rolling them.
haha you called it. They were cheap and they'll do just fine word on the fenders though, there's no way I wait to roll them after the car is painted, I've cracked enough paint to know better.
Thanks, haha I know I need to get on it! The next step is to reassemble the engine and drop it in, mock up the 5-speed, get the driveshaft shortened and get it all running and working properly. That will be a huge step forward in the project once completed
So, do you have the rest of the fenders done, or just that one? I love this build!! Those Diamonds are the perfect rims for this, imo.
That's just one. I have yet to do the other three, I want to focus on the engine/tranny first. I'm a bit scattered with my build at times haha. The Diamonds are cool, but they are super heavy. I imagine I will definitely upgrade at some point. I really want some wide BBS RM's, I'm actually on the hunt for a set at the moment.
Just read all 16 pages. Awesome thread man! Keep up the good work! Makes me want to go and re-do the whole van and actually think about what I'm doing!

I've read both your and Heist's build thread, great work I must say.
Hopefully I'll have a 2002 in the garage within the next month and when that happens I will be referring to you for information and help when needed. Keep up the great work, definitely love watching the progress.

Thanks man, yeah let me know if you need any help on anything! Good luck on your search

Toffe Brown huh? Are you painting this or having someone do it? Love the color, just beware if it needs additives (flakes) and you scratch something it makes fixing areas very difficult.
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons
