No turbo? Just got me a S70 2.5T, and love the sound of the engine, and the power.

Yup no turbo... also my mistake about the power.. it's unfortunately a B5252s so it's 10v and 103kw but the 20v head from B5254s should be exact fit. (i didn't check the engine code when i bought it.. but i'm not too sad about it, still got it for a very good price)

So the plans are, that when spring comes and i get the annual check done, i put the engine in as it is, so its a 103kw R5 powered 440 but when my other car gets ready and i don't really need this one anymore, i'm gonna start on my RWD project and then comes the pre-mentioned 20v head and also a turbo

About the sound.. yea well that's the actual reason i wanted this engine Everything else is just a bonus

Gearbox also shouldn't be a problem like OrangeBlue said, there should only be the only one they offered for 850?!?
About the 16x9.. i've thought about that but i'm not so sure they would fit there when i'm done with the engine swap because i'm pretty sure i have to make the control arms longer due to driveshafts which probably are longer also.

But we'll see about those things when i get this little project started

So... i haven't done pretty anything.. minor preparations i guess. The problem is, i had to raise the car to stock height(even more) for TÜV

No i didn't raise it for the winter but i have to raise the rear end about 1cm cause it tends to rub and i don't wanna ruin the new tires The front end has raised maybe 1-2cm comparing to summer condition cause i've changed the front springs 2 times in last few months

Summer wheels are going asphalt gray from center and MAYBE some interesting flake into the clear coat also

About updates.. yea well haven't got time to do anything on the car First i should finish the front bumper, but i think that's not gonna happen before new year Also got material for rear bumper build but i'm not even gonna start it before i've finished the front
AND i'm also fallen in love with ford focus ST orange color...

But this damn paint is expensive and hard to paint so i ain't so sure about using it but i'm not gonna burn the idea about some metallic or pearl orange So we'll see about that.


I have tons of plans to do also, but most of them take money and time... tho money wouldn't be such an issue if i had time cause i'm used to build with small amount of cash

Anyway, i'll update when i have something to say and till that u just have to wait but i'll do my best about getting done something

Length is quite right but the turning points are different so it needs some work to get it on place right

this car. with front bumper painted and wing removed. a maybe try to cut the rear bumper and lowering it. and slam on some bbs, yes bbs. everyone has them but still! it would looks so tits on it!!
but its your car and you decide! proper work so far, keep it up.

Cut the rear bumper? What exactly i have to cut there?

I don't like the looks of bbs and also the already mentioned fact that everyone has them. These borbets are and have been years my favourite. Lower is coming in spring, cause i'm gonna get proper tires.
Last season i had 195/45 front and 205/50 rears which are kinda balloons under there, new year will bring 195/40 and 205/40.
Also i'm thinking of cutting the rear spacers thinner so i could reduce the poke just a little bit, but that's just a thought.

And last but not least, my sweet Volvowagen is getting repaint in spring..again Didn't do good enough last time, tho this time i ain't gonna disassemble the doors or anything, just paint it over and done. Probably adding some flake also
