They added an additional front crossmember under the radiator for this year also that does not leave clearance for a chin spoiler. This is why for now I have kept the stock bumpers on and just modified them.
Totally understand, I was just giving you shit I do really like your car. Took some pics of it at IA.

Thanks man! Sadly my parking spot at the booth in the garage was not good for taking pics as all I have seen from the event sucked. lol

I missed my feature shoot because I was only able to attend Saturday.

Next year I should have much better parking hopefully with bigger sponsors.

Well a little update. Today I got in all my weatherstripping from Japan. Only took a month waiting for it to be shipped. Everything went in smooth and also was able to polish all the trim. Got my rear side indicator lights replaced also and finally got my trunk emblem on.

Spent tonight waxing her up for Driftober tomorrow. Hope to win best Import!

Took the car to Carma Performance on Tuesday to double check that it was not possible to put in a 2JZ. It was verified that it will not work. After a few days of deliberation the set in stone answer is this....

The Celica is 100% now getting a S15 SR20DET. Will have a S14 5-Speed Transmission however. Its stronger than the 6-Speed and no pesky speed sensor issues.

Tear down of the celica will start the weekend after IA and will be completely done by March 2012. I will keep the build documented as much as possible.

Great to see people bringing these back to life and getting them in good condition! Like the looks of it, wheels are real neat!

The recovering of dash and speaker shelf is different, I like it. However the seats are completely wrong, you should find something more suitable.

Where did you buy all your suspension parts? Are they available for the RA23 also?

                                My celica:
                                '87 Toyota Supra MKIII
                                '76 Toyota Celica ST2000
