From the research I did you can use the Beams 6 speed but it requires a custom made bell housing, mounts, etc. These days anything is possible with deep enough pockets. Just a lot more involved then I wanted to go with just an engine.

Took a trip to Alabama today and picked up a new AE86 tilt steering column, driveshaft, and front crossmember. Only think I am still lacking is conversion motor mounts and a AE86 LSD rear end to swap in the SR. Cant wait to ditch the stock steering box and get this manual rack and pinion in!

Ordered several more parts tonight. Getting anxious to get this new motor in a surprise some people! Sadly already dipped into my wheel budget so the BBS wheels will be put on hold prob until after the engine goes in.

The wrap was done by 12-point sign works in Franklin, TN. They specialize in vehicle wrapping. Its just an automotive grade vinyl. Nothing too special. I am actually considering removing it and repainting it white.

Honestly they were one of my sponsors for import alliance so I didn't pay much. Normally for a hood I would guess around $200.
