This just keeps getting better. Isn't that a lowering leaf spring? If so what are you planning on doing with it. If you are interested in selling it I have a Gt that would love to have it.

sold a bunch of stuff and finally got off my but and ordered front coil overs. I ordered them from http://www.aldaneagle.com/ and got a pair 654's with 250# springs and 1/2" bushings. Hopefully these will go low enough lol

got the suspension pulled apart today. i am going to hold off on cutting it up till the coilovers get here



and here is a nice before shot of the main portion of the subframe i am modifying



also found this when i pulled the lower control arms out...



i am going to have to weld a reinforcement plate in for that hole since that is where the lower control arm bolts to the subframe

now i am just waiting on coilovers to get here

wasn't planning on going down to the shop yesterday but i had forgotten a part i needed to ship out today for Aron and it was SOOOOOOO nice out here in MN (holy shit the weather here is out of this world) i decided to stay down there and start to work on the valve cover.

so here is a pick of the new valve cover that is going on the motor, this is the valve cover that is supposed to go on this motor which i find a bit funny since it isn't a 2.4L anymore nor is it fuel injection... hehe



then i hit it with a scotch bright pad to clean it up a bit



then i sanded and polished the raised bars (saving showing that off till the pain goes on) and masked it off for paint. i am doing a wrinkle black with red lettering.



took it home with me so i could paint it during the week and then i'm going to put it on my desk at work till the motor is bolted in. (i am going to bolt a spare cover on while i get the motor in the car so i don't damage this one)

i would get on that, they rust really really bad if they are not kept dry and they are getting few and far between

might have picked up a set of wheels today hehe. currently trying to find a local place to enlarge the center bore since they are from an old toyota
