Have never seen one of these cars in real life, but this is definitely one of my favorite builds! Can't wait to see the new engine in there. I really liked the enkei wheels, are you gonna run the Toyota wheels when you get it back together?

engine's looking good! I like the all-black look with polished exhaust

You're alive! I was afraid that this build was going to head off into the ether never to be heard from again... What was the final story with the spacer?

alright so i am in the process of moving into a new shop with a number of my friends and we are calling the place the Church of the Lowered. since i finally had space I was able to pick up the motor from ravenworks.
got her up on a stand today and mount went to mount the intake and exhaust manifolds to see if i wanted to paint or polish things before i put it back in the car. ended up having to take the intake manifolds to the grinder so make them fit but they are all set now
i am a happy happy camper right nowLast edited by Majend; 11-18-2012, 06:25 PM.

Try the guys at Rennline (http://www.rennline.com), I bet they aren't that expensive even with shipping.

yay for more updates.
I had RW modify my thermostat housing to get rid of the line that would normally go to the heater and they had to do a bit of work to get the intake manifolds to fit just right but now they fit like a glove.

made it out to WaterJet Solutions in Blain this morning as well and dropped off my valve cover spacer so they could make a thicker one and that should be done end of next week and my head gasket should be here from Cometic next week as well.

Like the update! Glad its coming along still... I was about to be very sad when you said the covers you had wouldnt fit, then got to the spacer part and was relieved the one you spent all that time on wasn't going to waste. Great progress!

You can probably find someone closer but if not, try the guys at Rennline. They're in Vermont but I know they have a 5 angle waterjet so they should be able to cut just about anything you want. They started as a Porsche parts specialist but have branched out into other stuff and I know they do custom stuff as well.
