stocking up on wheels and parts too this winter so i can finish off all of the current sets in the collection, and sell most of them in spring... making changes, and only keeping the really "rare" things in the personal collection. everything else is getting refinished by me and sold...
i will have up for sale the following fully refurbished sets finished for a spring debut and hopefully all will sell:
-18" bbs RF fully custom (currently 5x120 but has the option for any 5 lug bolt pattern you want)
-17x7.5" bbs RF in any 5 lug bolt pattern you want. this set is from the '90s but has never seen a tire or been mounted on a car. crazy set
-5 or so sets of bbs RS in 16" 4x100 most will be 16x8.5 and 16x9 fyi
-set of 5 fittipaldi fittistars in either 17" or 18" if someone wants to do something crazy...
-compomotive 18" one off set (personal set not for sale)
-16" one off set of magnesium bbs e76 (also personal set not for sale)
if any of this sparks your interest, email me at studio.delucav@gmail.com and get a jump on it. these wont last.sigpic

dont mind that weird discolored band on the main hoop. there was a shipping label there that left the residue. also the rear side panels are just test fits, and the leather needs to come off so i can add some 3/16" foam padding. this way the leather has no rippling
rear seat is still completely intact. although it serves no purpose other then the fact that i was building this with the intent to keep the entire interior intact.
still need to modify the front floor mat on the passenger side (need to have someone stitch that edge once i cut it to fit around the cage). Luckily being in a design industry, I now just have to find someone who can re stitch the edge (whipped edge in technical terms). Also i may have the rear seat recovered in new leather. i removed the seat belts in the rear, as well as the area where the cage passes through the seat back, so the leather needs a little work on that rear seat back to get it perfect. and since everything else is black leather with red stitching, i may consider doing the same. All based on price, as i am not dumping money into a leather seat which is in good shape for no reason if i dont need to.
so far so good though. Now time to plan what color the cage is going to be..
here is a quick photoshop of a potential candidate, white
once thats complete, time to focus on the harnesses, end surrounding parts. Going to possibly fab up some aluminum brackets for the harness bar, as well as something that matches to hold a small fire extinguisher to the rearmost brace that spans from strut tower to strut tower. it will match the cage, so it will not be noticeable.
I did however install the lowermost brackets at the seat bases for the harnesses. one more thing out of the way

nah, at this point the options are:
1. the same 3 stage white pearl off the '13 GTR which is the match to the powder on the wheels, and the newly sprayed pieces i have not shown yet to anyone
here is a picture of that same color on a 370z.
2. gloss black with a metallic flake just to set it off a little. everyone knows what this would look like
3. cant speak of the color yet, as no one will get why i chose it, but choosing this option will also force me to change the color of the stoptech calipers. Its the most tricky of the 3 options. I will get into further detail shortly if i decide to do this color.
4. brush the entire surface of the cage by hand, and then tint it either with a gun or by hand in order to achieve a "blackened steel" look. in reality, it would look similar to the way it does right now, but will have a much more even toning, be a slight bit darker, and have the "brushed aluminum" look. here are some examples of the technique
