    • yeah it happens. I had a feeling this deal was too good to be true, and told my friend i was going to "take the gamble" so i was prepared for it..

Ill get his info out there on the nets soon as I figure out if i have any options.

it was a good run, 50+ sets of wheels, never a spot of an issue or shady situation on a single one of them.. It figures the one set i actually purchase having plans for is the one that falls apart in the process. haha. Its really funny having every aspect of a wheel set planned out and sitting waiting all the way down to the tires and assembly hardware, caps, logos, wheel halves, etc, while the one thing missing.... the wheel faces. haha

Odd fact: My super rare collection that i wont part with or even speak of often has never had a car to go on.. I have a small collection 5-6 sets of wheels that i just like to keep on the wall until that rainy day that I pick up another project car and they magically work for. haha

as you can tell im not overly bothered by it. Sometimes for a good deal you have to gamble, in this case i lost a few hundred bucks

If someone does live in Indiana though, I would love help to give the guy a little scare.... I have a few ideas. haha

        • yeah i have his full info and address, im just not wasting the time to make it out to indiana. haha I found out he is a legit person and does own the house that i have the address for, so its moreso just working out a few more details, and coming up with a scheme to make him shit his pants a little. At this point, its now a game of seeing if i can fuck with him. No chance I am getting the money back, so might as well have a little fun with it

Once i see what my options are, ill put up his info on all of the websites so no one else falls for the crap.

            • Dude that sucks that you got screwed over.
I know what you mean about taking the gamble, a couple hundred bucks is a lot and every time I send someone money I freak out for the next few days until I get a tracking number?

              And super rare wheel collection?
As an amateur wheel whore, would love to see some pictures. hahah

              • yeah, ill randomly post up some pictures on the blog like i do every so often between wheel builds..

Back to the build. Went to the shop last night, and my AN fittings came in for most of the parts. So now i can spend the time sunday and finish most of that work up.

then onto the wiring and some more smoothing of the bay.... Not kidding, spoke to my buddy who owns the paintshop and it will be going in for a little paint in a few weeks. Just a small part of the bay that needs to be perfected to match the rest.

Brake hardline inside car work also needs to happen. That will likely happen next week once I rip the entire interior out again.. not looking forward to that mostly because im not sure where to put all of the parts.

things are coming along though, winter build is moving along nicely.

                • lots of work done this weekend on lots of fronts. built some wheels, worked some more on other sets, a little wiring, and a little powdercoat. Then got in a little go karting with the buddies, and some drinks and craziness after as usual.

the fluid tank and coolant hardpipes now have some fresh powder, and the tank is mounted up and fits ridiculously well. i will get some pictures of the installed tank tomorrow. just about the only thing installed as I removed everything else off the front end for the work ive been doing. haha

for now, here is a quick pic or two of the lower hard pipe

                      • So... lots of work has taken place over the past 2 or so weeks, and things are starting to go back together while other things are coming apart. Bay is almost complete. Only thing left is the wiring harness to be finished up, and ss brake lines being run out of the bay. they are going inside the car so you dont see them, but in order for me to do that, dash needs to come back out.. in order for dash to come out, wheels all need to sell and ship out, so i can make room for the interior to come out piece by piece again.

pics of the bay to come later this week. I just completed welding and shaving the lower radiator support, powdercoated all of the tanks and misc parts, smoothed and painted the lower rad support so thats at least all done, and now to hook everything back up.

upper rad support needs to be shaved still, but that will happen in a few days time when i get the car back on the ground and over to the paint booth.

for now, this has already been mounted and the -AN lines have been connected, but here are finished pictures of the custom fluid tank for the car. more pictures to come once i get some time.

The wiring harness project is coming along too. Lots of things have changed and its getting simpler and simpler. really complex to figure out, but really simple looking when its done. Latest update is that I am going to be moving over to some more german parts on my japanese car... Some german things just function better then japanese parts sometimes, so more info to come on that.
