this thing is insanely clean, i'd love for my vr4 to have an engine bay that amazing. can't even imagine the hours in it

better pictures of the seats! this was all the result of luck, awesome people who you meet from day to day, and the love of cars.
I was at a home that had just been completed, the owner is a big car guy. seems to have a new porsche to add to his collection every time i see him. So we got on the typical car conversation, he told me about the gt3 that he just sold, possibility of picking up the uber rare 997 speedster, and then... that conversation turned into a ridiculous "friend deal", me getting cash, and loading a pair of legit gt3 carbon fiber fixed back seats into an suv, and starting on an impromptu project to finish off the winter build! They are now matching black leather with red contrast stitching, the center pads are black leather (perforated), and the whole seat weighs in at a whopping 12 lbs. they are already set up for full 5 pt harnesses (not that i have any yet in the car) but whatever.
these are out of a gt3, so the sliders need custom brackets to make them bolt up to the Z, but im on the task, and in the 24 hours approx that i have owned them, the brackets are about 85% complete. i apparently dont like to sleep when there is a new project on the agenda
some better pics (this time the driver seat)
oh and they fit the car like a glove. matches the style of the interior spot on!

no, cars not done yet, so it isnt going to make it there on sunday. Intake manifold still isnt 100% complete, and hasnt gone for powdercoat yet either. Oh and my mufflers and tips are complete but they havent been tigged to the rest of the exhaust. thats all that is left though, so its getting closer to completion for this yearsigpic
