If you get the chance to swap a 1.8T in... Do it. These engines are totally awesome. I have 1.8T swap in my Polo 9n absolutly love it. With some twerks here and there (Forge stuff, custom exhaust, intake mods, software, etc.) i run about 212 bhp on the Dyno. Fun stuff
The Lupo looks great. Love the low ^^38Motion-Member

Thanks guys, yeah I'd definitely love to 1.8t it, just seems somewhat a shame with this engine on about 50k. I don't know..
I think it'll be staying the same this year and hopefully have a few changes happening over the winter which I'm really excited for (NOT 1.8T haha) gives me a little while to save too. Here's a few more photos from our TwoTwenty meet in Worcester last week.

Thanks a lot for the kind comments guys.
I still want the front down a little more to match the rear, I'm not sure whether to add a bit more negative camber upfront or whether to get rid of the arb.. we'll see. But as anyone with a GTi will know, the beam is not perfect. The drivers side wheels poke 1cm more than that of the passenger side which drives me insane when air'd out. I think the only simple way I can sort this is machining the backs of 2 of the BBS...
Here's a few photos from All Dubs show and Dub Club meets over the last couple of weeks here in the UK.

I still can't wait to sort the next plan out which I'm keeping hush. Should hopefully have the rest of the money saved to have it all done over winter!

Not much has changed really, all of the belts have been done, cars had a good service & upgraded to G60 brakes on the front using VR6 Carriers, so running 280mm Tarox discs & pads with a set of custom braided lines. Have had a photoshoot and feature for a UK car group ilovebass, photos below:

And picked a new set of wheels up yesterday too

Got pretty lucky as been looking for a set for over a year and had someone contact me about them, they're 16" BBS RS077's which seem to be pretty rare as they have quite a high offset. They've been welded & redrilled by Voodoo motorsport to 4x100 aswell which was a bonus so a mate drove me the 5 hour roundtrip to London to pick them up, he's a good egg.
Been racking my head working offsets and how much closer to the strut I'll be than previous and may be quite tight, gonna have to do a test fit with the barrels as are staggered.... if the barrels fit and don't hit, should be able to run 9.5" rear & 8.5 fronts! That's my aim anyway, soon see... hopefully tuck all round as going to have a few more notches and bit of shaving/cutting.
All fun.

Grabbed a photo of the rear today as the sun popped out for a bit, I'll take a few more of the iPad & door builds soon.. I'm hopeless.

I need to get one at night but my camera was picking up a load of noise, it's all lit under the subs, and within the amp rack along with lighting built into the amps so looks pretty cool!
For anyone interested in the full spec/build it's all up on the studioincar.com blog.
I've grabbed the RM's out today and gave them a good polish which took a fair while, even had the cotton wool buds out haha as had a bit of grit over them as as always... took them off a little late. Got to sort the leak as a few will know I had, it's a stainless bolt snapped in the hole so.. off it goes to be redrilled..
They look good though..
