Sorry about such a delay with an update, haven't really kept that upto date with it being winter as not many changes.
Erm, my car passed it's MOT in December with flying colours although they had to lift it onto the ramps ha!
And lots of pictures that I've taken but not posted:

Unfortunately there's been no huge changes to the car, although I have ordered some things which are taking FAR too long to arrive as I ordered them 39 days ago today!!! The excitement is slowly dieing downEspecially as it cost me the most I've spent on the car, way over £1000!! And no it's not air :P
And due to the bad weather here in the UK just before Christmas, my wheels have turned into this:
They only touched the salt ones and were wiped down straight away but oh well, gives me something car related to do as I've been polishing them up slowly...
And when I say slowly I mean.... well, one wheel took me nearly 10 hours by hand lol!
I've since come to my senses after not being able to move my hand for ages after it cramping lol, and bought a drill foam polisher extension. It doesn't quite give the same finish as by hand but I'm going over them by hand after letting that do most of the work!
The only problem is due to the speed of a drill, it makes the dirt/polish splat everywhere so had to sit in the garage after getting dirt all over the walls, myself, the cat and the carpet
And here's some other little random things that have arrived:
and here's how the car is sat now on the standard winter wheels
Cheers for looking & I'll try to post more soon lol!

It's been a while since I've posted on here.
I finished polishing my old BBS & ran them for a few months after spending countless hours on them, they ended up going to a friend of mine whilst I looked for something wider & slightly different.
Here's them just after polishing over the winter.

Around the same sort of time I received the parcel I'd been waiting months for.

It was all ordered from a UK company called Kam-Racing, it's a 4-1 Racing manifold with a straight through pipe, racing backbox with twin 3" tailpipes! I was very happy with the quality of it as it was all custom made but it did take 2-3 months to arrive with me and it sounds amazing & feels a lot more responsive.
A couple of days later this arrived from Germany too:

After running standard wheels I began to miss the BBS, so I bought another set but wider!
They're RMs AGAIN but wider than my old and absolutely flawless!
Here's the spec of them:
BBS RM002
7.5J ET20 Front
8J ET13 Rear
Smoothed and wet painted baskets done in VW Flash Red
All new chromed bolts
Newish Dishes
New Centres & rings with new BBS Badges
26MM Stainless Steel Stubby Valves
Wrapped in Toyo T1R's 195/45/15 all round

I then sent the car to be clay barred, washed, machine polished & waxed so it was looking nice for a few local shows.

I then got a smoothed front bumper & a shortened rear numberplate recess!

It's been so long since I've posted here
I won't waffle on, here's some pictures of it in it's pretty current state, I'll try and go from old to new.

These were after the car had a full 3 day machine polish, the car was pretty neglected over winter so really needed it, felt so smooth after.
I also ran the bbs through winter, so it's safe to say they were in a pretty bad way. Ordered Radinox dishes and stainless bolts as in honesty was fed up of polishing and love the deep shine.

When I split the wheels, as they were wet painted managed to chip quite a bit off as it was all so brittle. Wanted red again but was annoyed paying the money for the same again, so saved up and went for a different finish. They're done in a dye which I'd not heard of but they're pretty cool, they change colour in different lights going from red to brown to goldy/bronze!

Was in such a rush to build them up ready for Players Classic show over here at Goodwood motor circuit. Was mad, didn't get them back from the painters until wednesday night as they reacted so had to be redone and the show was saturday so we had many late nights building them and the tyres went on friday afternoon. Slight stretch took the fitters hours to get on with them all sitting on them..

We then left home at 3am to drive down, here's some photos from the show and on the way.
