yesterday i made a few more gussets, pretty happy with the fitment of them and how they came out as a whole.

gonna make a few more around the sunroof today as well as tie the b pillar to the main hoop between the lateral door bars. Its amazing mow much these small 16 gauge gussets have really stiffened the chassis as a whole!

Thansk bro, Ls3 but with a really aggressive cam and a lot of head work and work in the valve train. Thats what my guy says he could get, but tbh id be happy with anything over 500

Okay cool,, Be careful with that aggressive cam. Being that we both are using our cars for drifting those cams can be deadly for our valve train.. I did the same thing in the beginning, even built up my heads and valve train but was told that first event "POP!" goes my valves.. So I back down my Cam some.. But your guy knows what he is doing.. can't wait

Yeah, hes really good, he builds some billet block 1800hp TT ls motors for sandrails, but we'll see. 550 is more than enough for me though. As long is it can rev high all day im happy

Today i made some plates to rivet the rear sheetmetal firewall to near the strut tower.

The area between the plates will hold a flat sheet of aluminum with bead rolls to stiffen it. I will also put a hinge at the front near the tube connecting the strut towers, and be held at the rear with aircraft fasteners where it trails up to where the hatch sits. Hopefully if I can grab a sheet of aluminum tomorrow I'll get all those knocked out.

Also finished welding some more if the gussets in near the sunroof.
