  • Just skimmed over most of your build thread. Definitely giving me some inspiration to get to work on my 855 Turbo!

Thanks man! I'm glad I can be an inspiration, I can't wait to see more and more Volvo owners doing big things!

      • Yeah man, we need more stanced volvos. Its been a hassle getting it registered and now its not running so its been a headache already. Probably going to go for a battle wagon style, possible over flares and absurdly wide wheels

I'm gonna mess with measurements and see how close some of these parts are and if I would potentially be able to swap parts over and utilize some of the PIC coils to allow me to go lower.
yeah they fit, front top mount hole are slightly off so the camber plate sits at an angle instead of straight so when changing camber it changes toe, but easy to change by redrilling top mount holes

rears fit direct over rear arms, only need a spacer inside arms to stop one crushing them when tightening the bolts

My S40 has a Carisma chassis so most EVO suspension parts work

sure with some mixing and matching you'll make a plan!

Good luck, looking forward to seeing it with new wheels

Measurements don't work for my car... they are now for sale. If you're interested in them drop me a PM. Or even if you just want parts of them since I may have a buyer for a few bits and pieces from them if I part the coilovers out.

Slapped a bit of final filler on the R bumper, should be good for paint next week sometime if the weather cooperates and I have free time. Just needs to be sanded down and maybe one more quick layer of bondo to fill any small holes once I sand this layer down.

New center caps showed up today, one day early!

I'll snap a pic tomorrow with the caps in the wheels!

            • Quick pic of the caps installed. I'm definitely happy with my choice. Matches perfectly and I'm sure the shiny lugnuts will help set off the polished theme as well.

                • Really nice choice of wheels and color!
Maybe i did not see the info but what size are they?

Can't wait to see more of it!
hope the EVO VII shocks conversion will work, what will be the main gain of the coil over shock?

I can't help myself, i really want to lower my V70 again as previously said, i might get rid of the Saab later in the year then sell the V70 TDI and grab a T5.

                  Keep up the good work!

                  • Sorry for those that are impatient and want to see the wheels, I do too. I just don't have the time or money to get em swapped over right now and need to get some other stuff done. Ordered the stuff to do my timing belt, still need to do front brakes as well before SoWo... it's crunch time!

Here are two pics of my car sitting out at Autobahn Country Club the other day while watching my friend do a little bit of racing.

I got a new corner light at the junkyard the other day, so the tape you see holding the passenger one in is no longer.

Deal. Kalvin will be there in his bagged 850 from Oregon, and Matt in his bagged S70 from Florida, definitely have to grab a beer and talk Volvos!
