ha, that's the idea. I'm still sketched out from the man hole cover that made me do all the recent work on the car though. I drove it a little tonight, my confidence is coming back. Considering this is the second time I brought the car back to life after it basically tried to kill me while severely damaging itself, I think I'm entitled to be so cautious... even though this time was operator error, lol.

thanks chap! I probably should have rebuilt it before putting it in the newly nice-ish engine bay as it's a leaker... maybe I'll rebuild it this coming winter, maybe. I've kind of realized that it wouldn't really pay off to swap to a piston engine, minus whale keep it rotary!

ha, thanks. Someone asked if they were pegs just yesterday actually. I made them out or redbull cans. Nothing like a $5 set of center caps! I might actually end up with some in the front. I'm having trouble getting the white wheels to balance out, so I might throw the extra two Scion wheels up front for now till I can find a good deal on some better wheels that are just as cool or cooler. I'ma think about it.

yea, I'd like to do something like that. I think I might get serious about a rebuild and either try to do that this fall and/or winter or buy the parts and pay someone who knows what they are doing to rebuild it. I'm kind of worried I'd mess something up if I tried to rebuild it, lol. but I have heard that rotaries are easy to rebuild... we'll see.

Anyways, decided to change up the exhaust a little. I'm debating cutting the ends to be somewhat reminiscent of the old tips where they'd be flat with the end of the car. not sure if I explained that well. I also am going to either try to polish the tips or just paint them with engine paint. anyways, here's a couple shots to give y'all an idea of what it looks like as of now.

Forgot to get a pic, but I figured out how my factory supplementary fan was in, so I put it back in and wired it up. while realizing it hung down below the radiator a bit and that the vent in my front "valance" was currently doing nothing, I made a little air dam out of non-stolen vending machine plastic. this should give the radiator more air on the road and more air in heavy traffic with the extra fan as it should direct the air from the lower part of the fan right up at the radiator where it needs to be. This is practically a race car now.

don't worry, I'll trim the Zip ties.

That skid plate looks the business, if it's bolted on in the right places it should tie the front end of the car together..... but you knew that. Nice work, you can't go wrong with an 80s BM.

thanks man, now if only the hood would open the right way!

my crappy little air dam recently depicted works really well by the way. I gave it a bit of a testing today. on the highway, the cooling is much more efficient. The fan I put back in sure cooled the car down with ease when it started getting a bit warm in a parking lot.
