So i got off of work at about 6 PM, grabbed something to eat, then came home and logged onto the forum, saw this, and clicked on your build thread.

it's 1:12 AM, i just finished reading through it, and i've been having to pee for the last 4 hours.

          immaculate job dude, immaculate.

I got some new treats for under the hood, I am upgrading my front serpentine belt setup because the one that's on there is junk and slips.

3g 130 amp motorcraft alternator to replace my overworked 65 amp, this should not only make the lights brighter but also make the car run smoother.

my current waterpump is a clockwise rotation pump but because im completely redoing my serp setup I needed it to spin the other way so I did some research ad fount out a 90 crown victoria had the correct pump.

2g to 3g alt conversion plug and heavy duty power wire

I decided on a color for the motor so I painted all of the new parts. I will be doing the motor when I have it all apart

                Sick freaking car dude...

This is probably a long shot, but you didn't happen to go to Stony Brook University a few years ago did you? I'm pretty sure you were my Orgo TA...LOL. My Orgo TA had one of these that he had built himself and I had a pretty extensive discussion with him about it in the parking lot once haha. Beautiful car.

Been busy the last couple weeks visiting schools for next fall but I did manage to get the front of the motor back together. All that's left is the wiring, but you know me with my damn wire tucking so that's gonna take a few more days.

front belt set up before, with that horrible tensioner and the old 65 amp alternator

                  and after

The coil also stuck out like a sore thumb

                  so I fabricated this

                  to relocate it here

                  much better.

I got the car back together last week, the new alternator, water pump and serp belt set up works perfect, the car runs much smoother and no more voltage dip/ belt squeak every time I turn on the lights/hit the brakes. I also relocated the starter solenoid and hid the wires. Its a huge improvement under the hood, no more rats nest of wires going in every direction. Some pictures.

The only wires left in the engine bay now are the PIAA relays and harnesses, Which I be relocating eventually as well.

With the car running good again it was time to take the car down to Carlisle, PA for the 15th all ford nationals. I went down with my girlfriend, Tom (69Clark) and a couple guys from Connecticut in a opal frost 95 Saleen. It was about 700 miles round trip and a little over 5 hours each way. Overall It was a good time, The weather was much nicer than the last time I went, making the trip much more enjoyable. The car performed flawlessly, It didn't give me a single issue the whole trip, It cruised along all day doing 70 75 with no issue,I had it up over 100 a couple times and it was good minus a slight vibration in the rear. When sitting in traffic for 30 minutes going to/from the show the car stayed nice and cool. I even managed to get almost 23MPG. I entered the car In the Young Gun class for cars owned/ built by people under 25. I didn't place but I thinks its because I left early to head home Saturday. The car drew TONS of people, just about every single person stopped to take pictures, there was a crowd of 3 or 4 people around the car at all times, looking and taking pictures. Overall it was a good time.

                    a couple from the show

some of the other cars in my class

I scored an original 67 mustang radio which are getting hard to find at the swap meet too, I will be converting it to AM/FM with an aux input for my I pod.

I also got some other odds and ends, not pictured - new under dash speaker, and a pillar covers.

                    light tension hood springs

longer hood pin cables, ones that I can actually bolt to the car rather than have taped to the underside of the hood.

For those that doubt that I drive the car.......

                    done

I actually had a surprise part show up today. I had totally forgot I ordered it, I ordered it back in march. It was the first part of my strut tower brace. Like my coilovers it was Made by Total Control Products. Which means months of back orders but also means the highest quality possible, and it sure is. I'm not sure if its gonna fit with my ford EFI manifold but either way that is getting replaced very soon by something MUCH more fitting for the car.

I also spent 9 hours yesterday with the photographers starting at 530 AM, we got most of the shoot done minus a couple pictures which we will be shooting hopefully in the next week or so. But here is the last teaser of the photoshoot.
