This build thread was super enjoyable to read, I really liked it. Also I love that you're not afraid to put this car in the weeds.

absolutely one of the most impressive builds i've seen, especially when done by basically one guy. hats off.

ground clearance wise its not too low, its more of tire clearances. however im 5'10 and the car barely comes up to my elbow

Props props man, very impressive work you've done on this! Dig the build thread, Can't believe I've never heard any talk on this car before especially living in the same area as you.

Wow! I'm definitely going to make time to go through your restoration/build thread. The film car is what made me a Mustang guy. The car looks fantastic in these finished pictures.

                            Someday I'd like to build a 67'-68' fastback into a pro-touring 68' GT500 clone... we'll see haha.

I couldn't help but go through the entire thing (I sort of got sucked into it). First, your attention to detail is incredible. I had no idea there were so many discrepancies between the original movie cars and the reproduction cars (any comments on the accuracy of the GT500E's?). Secondly, I applaud you for doing so much of the work yourself. It looked like no small feat to get class A fitment on those fiberglass parts. It must be that much more satisfying getting behind the wheel. Speaking of which, I am really pleased to have read a few times that your driving the wheels off of it! I feel cars of this nature are generally squirreled away somewhere (or driven rarely). A seriously inspiring build man... going through that thread really separates this from just being "another Eleanor clone".
