I will say you sir have built a masterpiece man thank you for providing me with quality reading material for the last 2 days i read the intire 58 pages man and its an amazing build you should be proud of yourself man what you have accomplished is 90perc of our dreams at the age of 50 after retirement soo i give you a very big thumbsup i have a softspot for fastbacks aswell as mk2s man i love the style of both but i will say that a couple of the ending pics the pass front fender the gt500 logo doesnt look straight with the door sticker aswell maybe its the picture but other than that man its stunning

haven't gotten a chance to tear the motor apart because of working 55+ hours a week but I did manage to make it to a couple shows over the past few weeks. Tom( 69clark) tagged along to both as well.

lia auto show we both were chosen for the top 25 out of 300+ cars.I was told that my car also received the most peoples choice votes that day as well.





the next week we both attended the New York Mustang Breast cancer cure show. This was my third year attending and was a great time. Tom brought home 2nd place in the fox class and I got best of show.

got that hideous ford manifold on and did the mock up with the new setup. It actually fits great but there are a couple small things that need to be addressed but thats to be expected.

OH. MY. GOD. I go ape. shit. over these. it was a toss-up between building my own eleanor rep, or building my own M3 GTR rep when i was picking out my first car. fuck. I almost bought a 67'..twice. son of b*#ch yours is gorgeous, that will be my second car you can hold me to it, except I don't think I'm gonna make an exact replica, i just like the lines on the eleanor kit, mine will prob turn out more like this:



and yes i do realize i am speaking entirely in hypotheticals..

anyway, sorry to thread-jack OP, read the build tread as well and can totally vouch for the "if you want a car, build it" mentality once again beatiful car, and more importantly props for doing it yourself

I agree with this guy. I am a car guy and have enjoyed watching this thread. If no-one cared, people would not open/read and comment on it and the guy would leave, but ppl are interested in this amazing build so hey, let it be dude
