slight progress. hitting the car with 320 to knock off the bright coat of primer in the afternoon tomorrow then applying metallock.

Still have a lot of sanding in my future thats forsure.

the TMBs wheels would look super tits on your car.. anyway you already heavily modded the car to fit this very wheels.

i only would like the car to have kept the door handles, but thats just me.

It's funny that you say this, because I was thinking about your fenders and looking at the 2002 body style and thinking about a specific thread here on StanceWorks about a VIP build where they did custom fender flares. They sort of remind me of Subaru WRX/STI fenders, and the way these guys did it is awesome. I would personally do it slightly different, but the overall concept is something to think about. Plus, there would be no (or minimal) fiberglass/bondo involved, which is always comforting.

Yes, exactly. Didn't realize people were already doing that. Now that I actually see them, I don't like the idea as much.

Yeah all the flares are not for me plus they are fiberglass and I'm really trying to get metal ones. Anyways I managed to remove the entire coating of red with 320 grit today and will be doing a coat of SEM primer tomorrow.

The drivers door is going to need a lot more work, but I really think for the most part I'm making some serious progress.
