What type of standalone are you trying to go for? There are a couple options floating around my parts if they are the ones youre after. Ive used MegaSquirt quite a few times and love it. If youre going with a soldering iron then you can get the DIY kit and save yourself a few bucks.

MegaSquirts Are great ECUs you can get a pre assembled V3 + exp Card $650-700

or like old mate said DIY for bit over $400

then jump on hondatech and ask if any one has a base tune you can have and your off

yeah I was going to use megasquirt originally, but I'm really looking for something I can hook up and drop in. I have enough wiring to do haha. I can get a series one from 700-900 used on the forums, they are just hard to come by.
