I didn't get too much done today. The weather was alot better so the car stayed outside.
I got out the sawzall and cut out the bulkhead...



and welded up the sides, should be good and stiff now.



I want to pull it back in the hangar (when I have help again lol) and MIG the bulkhead at top of the bar. Welding sheet metal on a 2300 lb car with a torch kinda sucks... its like paper thin.

Well, I finally got to work on the E30 some. Pictures tell most of the story...
Pushed the airplane out of the hangar... it was freezing outside. Note frosty E30 lol

I fabricated this brace for the trunk side of the rear seat



a friend stripped out the rest of the interior...



the trunk brace picks up the rear seatbelt mounting bolts and then is welded on the bottom
