Finally, progress!

Quick snap of my W124 after I washed the snow grime off...



Definitely needs some serious work, but its a DD right now, so this is as good as it will look for a while.

First order of business, I chopped the driver's door to match





Since this is Stanceworks and not Chopworks, I decided to make a start in that department...



I cut 2 coils... not near enough. I will probably be riding on cut coils for a while as this car is not getting allocated much for funds



I thought I had read someone on here that had only cut 2 coils... any tips? The fender is just test fit here to show wheel gap... its not that ugly :P

And I will try to keep this updated at least a couple times a week since I'm back to work now.

Update

Sorry for the downtime, folks... I have been working long hours on a contract job 150 miles away from my garage... commuting became impractical so I was staying near the job and unable to work on the E30.

I just got news today that I will be moving forward with a job close to home!
And I ended my contract...

...so we should start having some more progress in the next couple of weeks... I still have alot of running around to do in the meantime, but I assure you all this project will get back off the ground!

A new home!

Well, last night we got all moved into the new garage in Oklahoma...
hopefully I'll be able to work a little more with it inside, however with my new job I'm already working 6 tens and commuting 2 hours...
Thank goodness for polyphasic sleep!

Well, we now have a poorly fitted passenger door with trimmed pillars!

Ha so while out of town last Friday I got a call to go to work on Tuesday... loaded up the E30 on a trailer and used a friend's shitbox truck to haul it to my new abode in OK. Nice new garage to work in, no tools or equipment. Pictures later this week. Money next couple weeks... = order parts
And I'll get my torch and whatever material I can this weekend...
