Anyone able to shed some light on adjusting preload to get more drop as my coils are maxed out.

adjusting preload is compressing the spring using the spring locking collars, as to expose more of the strut body so you can then wind the base adjustment further down

when i maxed out my BCs i compressed the spring as far as the threaded body would allow me, coz i actually ran out of thread, then i took out 1 collar and wound the base adjustment all the way down until it was all the way up to the spring locking collar, i think i compressed the spring by at least 1" if not more

i don't run much preload these days, need some bump absorption for drift
