Seems a lot of people want a Beetle at some point, and for good reason, they're a fun car that very few people dislike.....but they're getting up there in value, so don't leave it too long.

The 1200 is just on steelies at the moment. I've had a pair of 13in Super Star SS05's and a pair of 13in SSR Focus Racing for a while, hoping I might find another pair of either/both to make a set, but no real luck. I did find and buy some 7.5's in the SS05's, which won't fit, but will make selling them as a set easier.....but I think I'll just run a mismatched setup next. They need a tidy up, so probably in the new year.

Thanks guys....they're definitely a fun car to own and play with. The older ones(pre-60) are very simple, but can be tricky to drive with no syncro's and the semaphores....takes a bit more thought. Next step would be to go a little lower, but I'm not in a rush as it drives nicely as is.

Darkside....what model is yours, mid-60's? Plans?

Something a bit different for here, but I figure with the new wheels on it's a bit more S|W worthy. Ratty old '54 oval Beetle I've had most of the year which I just put my Modena's on. I had a couple of Beetles 8/9 years ago(a '59 and a '55) and wanted another to fiddle around with....couldn't pass up an OG black first year model(for Aus). Might go lower soon, but for now this is it....rear fit is quite tight, front is still tucked as they should be(IMO)
