Canon 30D
Canon 50mm F1.8
Canon 70-210mm F4
Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6
I think these will be enough for a while, or not.

Just added a Sigma 10mm f/2.8 diagonal fisheye to my collection, so much fun to play around with

Nikon D90
Zeikos Grip
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6
Zeikos UV Filters
Rocketfish Carbon Ball Head Tripod
Looking to ditch the Sigma for a 70-200 f/2.8 very soon. The Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 is on the top of the want list. Also just played with a Nikon 10.5mm f/2.8 fisheye recently and I really want one of my own. It's quite a novelty but a lot of fun.Last edited by RLB; 07-26-2011, 03:06 PM.

Cause its not built well, and it really wasn't that much of an upgrade, I'd just get a used 7D for the price of a new 60D.

Also why does the 60d feel like a downgrade to you? I have heard this, but no explanation as to why..

CRAP just realized the 50d doesn't do video. Thats out... I really want something with HD video capabilities, looking at 60d's now, not sure I want to spend the extra for a 7d really... i'd rather spend the extra towards lenses and car parts :\ I've seen 60d's for about 899 with the lens which is in my budget, but honestly i'd rather spend a bit less... i'm 99% sure I want the HD video capabilities as well as a strong camera... I'm not very keen on the T range anymore so those may be out of the running. Might just have to get a 60D and call it a day. BTW i'm open to buying used, I had bought a used camera before and am not worried as long as the owner seems to have kept it in good order.
I just found a 7D on craigslist with the lense for 1100... maybe when i'm ready to buy, I will just swing for the 7D. Keep in mind, i'm an aspiring amateur, looking to further my abilities and plan on taking some classes this semester in photography, I would love to do photography / video professionally but not sure where it will take me. Photography and my car are pretty much the only things I enjoy other than my girlfriend :p In this case would you recommend a 7D over anything else?

I'd have to side with Kielan, I own a 50D. I shoot with a 60D at work and honestly it feels and behaves like a downgrade from the 50D.
If I was after something like you mentioned then I'd be all over the 7D like a rash! Than thing is a beast!
fyi the 50D is a very Raw camera if you just want to take photos - I absolutely love it.

Well a 50D won't do shit for you cause it doesn't have HD video, that said, I've heard mixed reviews about 60Ds, I'd personally buy a 7D.

So, since I first posted, I had to sell my camera, get an m3 and now im looking at a new camera. I originally had a 450d (xsi) with a 50mm 1.8 and a kit 18-55 and a tripod. The camera overall was pretty nice, but i'm looking for something a bit better with more capabilities. I am looking for something that CAN take HD video, I will not settle for something that doesn't. I am looking at 50d/60d, how do these cameras compare to the T1i/2/3 range? better ? worse? more capabilites. I haven't done much research yet so figured i'd post here first to get an idea. I will soon do more research, I have gone in store and played with the 60d a bit and like it, and i've been able to find some online for a decent price, but the 50d is a bit more affordable and I could spend the extra on lenses' which I know make a bigger difference.
