          Cool story though, bro

You don't have to spend 1200 on a set of real wheels, you can buy some for $300 and probably even less. I paid $500 for 100% brand new looking 15x7 Kosei K1s with 80% tread Falken Azenis RT-615s (some of the best tires you can buy for 15"). Spend an hour looking at the CORRECT websites for wheels and you will find REAL wheels for CHEAPER than your Failmaxxes.

          Good day to you, sir.

We've seen enough posts by you to know your car is gonna be a rolling pile. You don't have ****** in the sense that you think you do, you're just getting laughed at.

                        • now I agree with most things in here, but I just wanna throw this: what if we can't find low enough offset? kramerbuccs24, you say you got some 15x7's for cheaaap, which is awesome, but what about a car like myself that requires LOW offset? hell my stock sunken wheels are 9 wide zero offset and they need a 30mm-35mm spacer to flush out. I have looked for weeks, and I've yet to find a cheap pair of real wheels, 17 or 18", in such low offsets. To even use spacers, I still need a low offset wheel. If I where to use a 9 inch rear, I'd still need pretty much a zero offset wheel to space, because flush for me is like -25 or -30mm on a 9 wide. all the nicely priced cheap real wheels are small (15 or 16), narrow (I Ideally want 9 front 10.5 rear), or high offset. and by high, I mean +12 on a 9 rear or something like that. front for me is easier, a 9 wide -4 would be flush so that isn't too bad, but the rear gets me. My rear to be flush is 9 wide -28, 10.5 wide -15, ect

I'd love to find a good deal on real wheels but for my specs it seems knock offs or real expensive wheels are my only good choices. I found a set of Muscle car wheels with low offset that I will be purchasing for cheap, but the weight and quality are probably that of a knock off wheel, even though they are made by a "real" company.

I continue to save though, I will get some custom spec light weight wheels one day. Maybe not the gold LM20's I dream of, but something...

                          • I don't know anything about 17s or 18s because I've never looked at them (even 16s look like donks on my car lol), but here are a few 14-16" examples that I found from 2 minutes of searching:

14x6 +7 Enkeis that just need a little refurbishing love for TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS:

14x7 +20/14x7 +1 SSR Reverse Mesh that need a little refurb love, $650

                            16x7 +43 RPF-1s, perfect condition, $600

18x8 OZ Ultraleggeras with tires, $1000

The deals are out there, just look for them. It's not hard.

Also, spacers and adapters are your friends.

                            Don't fake the funk.
                            Gotta pay to play.
                            etc.
                            etc.
                            etc.

Modding cars is not cheap. You're not the only person scrounging together $$ to pay for bills, rent, school, car repairs, etc. etc. etc. If you don't have the money to do something right, don't do it at all (my opinion on the matter).

I'm not going to coach you into what wheels to buy for your car, I'm just saying in the context of this thread that fake wheels or half-assed cars don't get you anywhere in "teh stance sc3ne." There's a reason there is not a thread about my car besides my build thread.... that's because it's not done yet. Wait it out, it'll all come with hard work and time.

lol yeah it's funny how 16's can look donk on some things and smalllll on something else. well see now 14-16 are just too small. my stock's are 16's, and while they aren't tiny, if I were to buy new wheels I might as well go 17 to fill out a little more and for more tire options.

I'd also go wider if possible, but not smaller. 7 wide is too small for the fronts, I would keep the stocks then. stock is 8 wide front 9 wide rear. I know it's a lot of time and money, and I accept that. I'm not going to be buying knock offs don't worry, I'm just saying. hell even those OZ,s...8 wide +48.... I'd need a 95mm spacer out back

I mean I know the deals are out there. If i had a miata or something like that I could get some gnarly deals on wheels all day long, but for my widebody, there's just not that kinda stuff out there. I'm looking for between 9 and 10.5 wide rears, and 8 or 9 wide fronts. 7 wide's are too small even for my fronts. 17 or 18 tall and 8-10.5 wide, in negitive offsets. thats the thing, to even run spacers I still need low low offsets without using a rediculous spacer. i don't wanna use anything bigger than a 30mm spacer...a conquest buddy had 50mm spacers and he said they handled like ass, cause no one makes hubcentric 50mm he said.

I find deals out there everyday that are awesome, and for most cars, they are the perfect example of why you should never touch knock off's, cause they're that cheap. But I've yet to find a set right for me. Trust me I check zilvia every day, It's not that I'm not looking.

But yes, I agree in most cases, there are no reason for knock offs. hell even in my bind for specs, I am buying "real" brand wheels. I'm getting Boss, a sister company to american racing. The wheels are made for muscle cars, and have low offset due to the wide slicks they tend to run, but even though they are a real brand they are probably the same quality and same heavy weight as knocks. I do have my saving fund slowly growing waiting for them light wheels in the perfect specs...they will pop up for sale one day... haha
