Can mint and $250 even go in the same sentence? lol. I havnt really got a steal of a deal yet either. Friend just got a volvo 240.2 for 200 but thing is a hella clunker. Guess i just dont see the potential in those things, an ugly car is ugly

under 400$ i guess it is hard to find.
personnally, all my cars are 600euros carts (not one euro more) except the S70 and two of them ran well and one is still runing good...
i am pretty sure that in the US for a bit more than 400$, about 600$ or a bit more there is somethnig great to buy..

nah ive noticed that too. I hear about people getting cars for less than $500 but somehow those deals never come across me. I was on CL for a few hours the other day browsing and i didnt find anything.

Cheapest was a Yugo I found the other day on CL for 650$ no title. Supposedly the owner died and left the car to some other family with no title. I asked if there was a way to get one and now they stopped e-mailing me.

I got my first car ( 76 Plymouth Scamp )_ for 75$ off some lady that had died. Her family sold it to me and I was still only like 14 so my mom used it till she ran the motor down on me.

-$50 5spd S13 coupe w/working HUD
-$600 running 5spd S14 (no dents/rust)
-$1800 *mint* 5spd 1998 Kouki S14 from a DEALER (wholesale). I resold this for $8800 two weeks later, it had 73,000 miles on it.

I haven't flipped cars in eons though, so I've stopped scouring the way I used to.

i picked up my truck for 250...1993 ford ranger supercab xl...v6, 4x4, less than 40k and runs like a champ..it was the shop truck at the chemical plant my dad was the manager at, and they were pretty much writing everything off.

could have picked up some forklifts and cherrypickers too, but i think i would have had trouble registering them...if you want a cheap 4x4, businesses are your best bet, as they are just writing them off when they sell them and just want them gone...

I bought a 240 coupe for $400 because the guy said it didn't run, so I got it home, recharged the battery, and it cranked right up and ran perfectly. Wierd huh? lol Just put coilovers on it this weekend and am looking for some wheels. Then i'm gonna weld the diff and drift the F out of it haha. absoluteely ZERO rust and everything on it is in awesome condition!
