A good substitute for not washing your jeans is to fold them and bag them. Toss them in the freezer for a day. The cold will kill all the bacteria on them. if there's about of dirt just take a damp cloth and wipe it off.

No. I have only worn American Eagle jeans for the last few years because they are the most comfortable for me.

I wear raw denim. I have a pair of RRL raw selvidge denim and some stf 501 Levis. I honestly like my Levis best. I love taking the time to break them in and wear them to my body. There character gets deeper as does my car with age.

My goal is to have some 501`s at all stages of fade, from dark and stiff to worn and loose all with my fades.

That's not what this thread is about.
Lets just say 150 for now. I currently have tried American eagle jeans but like the previous poster said they are really fucking thin and previously washed.

A lot goes into a quality pair of denim vs average. How the cotton was laid, the denim weight, the cut and stitching.

Levi's and Gap have made some nice cuts and have had some outstanding quality. It's personal preference at the end of the day. I don't buy designer jeans that you wash I think its boring. Kind of lame buying something that someone cut up, when you can wear them and it will do the same thing over time while you get to actually use them.

Favorite site for ridiculously priced cool denim:
Self Edge carries the world's finest denim and leather accessories, all with a distinct aesthetic and details that are second to none.

I wouldn't buy $100 jeans over $50 jeans if they were made from the same denim.
I worked at Old Navy, the only difference comes in their raw categories.
