"I didn't know Mercedes wheels fit on a Volkswagen."

    or

"I didn't know Corvette wheels fit on a Volkswagen."

    and

"It would look better if the wheels had the VW symbol in the center... Then people wouldn't know that the wheels came from another car."

    Me: Cool story bro
Yeah that's the downside of ordering from discount tire direct, they were like we cant ship those tires to you blah blah because they are not wide enough lol..

first time I heard it called a chirp, but then again you have the HKS. sounds like a squirrel getting it in the ass.

sorry but over here, all the wack builds immediately go for the HKS just because they think it sounds cool. Every subaru I see is completely stock with the exception of an HKS bov.

Had a TiAl 50mm on my built evo. way better.
HKS is the only company I know of that comes with the BOV flange and bent piping so it sits closer to the throttle body and removes some flex pipes. Otherwise it would sit in the stock location near the turbo and have no real performance difference.

I know that the HKS SSQV is seen as super ricer, because every boy racer wants one, and usually go with the crappy ebay special knockoff ones. I decided to build my car right the first time though, and since HKS is the only company that offers a proper relocation kit, I decided to go with it.

"Why can't you just leave it the way it is?" (Reaction to a stock Legacy GT when I insisted that the fatally-flawed catted uppipe would have to go ASAP.)

"Those are low cars already. They have low-profile tires." (Reaction to the aforementioned LGT with respect to lowering it.)

Wow. That sucks. At least in VT people appreciate manuals. Probably a third to half the cars in my lot at school are sticks.

I bought my car with style 2s and 225/60/15 gross truck looking tires. (You know the ones.) and I finally get my AC Schnitzer 18x8.5 with 215/35/18. My mom comes in the garage, stares blankly and says "I don't get it your old tires are way bigger. Isn't that what you wanted?"

    I know she's not a "non-car guy" but I had to share.

Yeah that too. There was a 6 week period once where I drove ODB 100 miles a day for work, during the middle of summer in Atlanta with no A/C. People didn't understand why.

I also get a lot of people asking me if I'll sell my wheels. The answer is always no.
