Why would her brother take her to school and be like.. yeah cool just sit here in a car in a parking lot and skip class.

And im pretty sure the horn on an e36 works if the key isnt in. irrc it does on my e39.. my e23 my e30, my truck, my moms suburban... ect.

She could have turned the hazards on, the headlights, ect. If I was dying in a locked car I would have atleast tried to do something.

I've broken a bunch of e36 windows at the junkyard because half the time all the door handles are broken. It's WAY harder than you think. I usually pick up the biggest rock I can find and chuck it at the window and even then it just bounces right off sometimes.

I think she was on something or at least medicine where she fell asleep so hard that she didn't even notice it was hot balls in the car and died? IDK Don't you think a 14 year old can kick out a car window with both legs while laying on her back? SHe is a girl, that move is programed in her blood lol!

She died of heat stroke, that's hardly considered "comfortable surroundings." You could easily die within a few hours on a hot day stuck in a car.

Fairly common problem with e36s and e34s. Even happened to me, fortunately it was in the winter. My wife was outside laughing at me.
Apparently it goes into security mode and you either have to bust out or wait it out. I knew this could potentiall kill someone if they did not have the strength or insight to break a window.
Not me but yet another person who experienced this.

Here's some more fishy info! So the locks were not able to open from the inside... Ether worn door handles like Ollie stated above or the door lock system could be faulty.... I assume the PIG pulled hard on the inside door handle to test it? Also the horn does not work without the key! Bingo!


But no signs or trauma she didn't kick or scream or try to punch out....
